So, I got fed up trying to note down how long each battery was lasting me cos I vape on autopilot. So here it is......the GG vaping-time calculator.

Enter your own details to get an estimate of how long your battery will last you.

Enjoy!

Once you've got it opened in Excel, If you see a message at the top of the screen stating that you are in compatibility mode, double click it to get rid of it otherwise you won't be able to see both calculator sheets.

I want to say something about GG calculator guys. When you calculate the vaping time, I want you to know that the time that the calculator shows is smaller than the real one, exept you smoke like train and continously all the time that calculator shows. I mean that if you see that calculatgor shows e.g. 5 hours, your smoking time will be like this if you take same draws per same amount of time but for 5 hours. But no one can smoke for 5 hours continously. You will take many brakes for sure.

To my opinion, the smoking time is 50% - 100% more that what calculator shows.

An e.g. If you take 4 inhales per min, then you take 16 inhales per 3 min (thats a real cig). If you take a break of 1/2 hour, then your smoking time will be increased by 10 times!!!

I will ask Lisa if she can put this parameter to the calculator so it will be almost totally real.

The calculator is designed to show how much total vaping time you have, based on regular draws of regular amounts over a regular period. For those people who vape more like they used to smoke, with large breaks in between "vaping sessions", obviously their batteries will last a lot longer. Isn't this self-explanatory?
Difficult to know how to add such a variable set of parameters whilst still trying to keep the calculator simple for the user. We might need to discuss in further detail......

Lisa, have a stupid question...... How do I know my Atomizer resistance.......

Art, the only stupid question is the one that goes un-asked. :)

You can used a multimeter to obtain the actual resistance of your atomiser, however, in practice, they are mostly between 3.4 and 3.8 ohm so the calculator will give you your approximate vaping time if you enter a resistance between these levels. I've got DSE901s that measure 3.8 and I also have RN4075s (different type of 901 atty) and 801s that measure around 3.4.....

Plus like imeo said. I don't think I could take 5 draws a minute continuously. So maybe it would be better to formulate it for 5 draws per hour. Correct?

I know what you are saying, but I do know that a lot of people are constant vapers. If you are not, the calculator does allow you to enter a small number in the draws per minute box (e.g. enter 0.25 in the box if you draw only once every 4 minutes).

I have updated the calculator to state that the vaping time given is the total time with no breaks.

Let me know if this is ok or if more changes are needed to improve it. :)

Thank you Lisa, I think I got it now...... I vape probably about 10 - 12 deep drags an hour...... I use a lot of liquid, probably 5 - 10 ml a day...... Used to smoke 3 packs of Marlboro red a day...... I think I am doing well......
But, I guess my nicotine intake isn't that bad, because I use 18 mg and cut it 50/50 with Glycerin....... Got a great throat hit and great vapor production...... Got to get an AFS or one of those E-Dobit things...... Have a great day Maam.......

It is great the way it is. Thank you for putting this out there for us. I will use it for sure. I have several batteries here that I am sure to be using in my GG. And it will be nice to calculate their life. Heck I might even start tracking their actual time and voltage before and after I use them. A trend log on another page of your calculator for my own use.
That will be easy for me to set up. I would need to label and track each battery though because they can vary also. I might be able to see the difference in devices also.

You have given me a good idea.. If I can stick to it, there may be some useful information to gain here. Or at the very least a neat looking graph... lol....

I have seen e-dobit Ab, its a nice device but it requires to do the same as you do now. You have to remove catridge again after 4-5 inhales. That was not my thought when I was making AFS, I just wanted to avoid exactly this, to stop this useless and dangerous and dirty movement.

ps...... I say dangerous because this movement is really dangerous when you drive a car.

I agree with you 100% about the driving and dripping thing imeo. I almost ran off the darn road the other day doing it. Now I only drip at red lights. Thank you so much for building something that we can use for this. I am excited to try one.

Thanks vanp. I am trying to give the best always. I will sell these 17 AFS very soon (I am still waiting for those damn atomizers), but I want you to know that they are in testing mode. That means that if they dont work exactly as you expect, then the atomizer needs more modification. I want to tell me your opinion first before I send them to the big market.

If AFS dont work exactly as you expect, then you dont need to send it back to me, the only thing you must do is to ask me for a new atomizer telling me what exactly happened with the one you already have, so I can make the right adjustments. The cost for this will be 10 euros shipped, thats the reason I sell them only 30 euros now.:)
