The Go-go just got Smarter!

3 quick clicks of the button turns off the Newest Go-go's. 3 more clicks turns it back on and you are good to GO!
No more worries it might activate in your pocket or purse!

It seems the Go-go button was designed from the beginning to be more than just a give me power switch and communicates directly with the on-board computer chip and explains why the Go-go needs the occasional REBOOT.

If your Go-go gets out of sink and you get occasional misfires just run it down till you get the multiple flash signal that it's time to recharge. The chip Reboots when charging and you are good to Go.

The on and off option was not expected to be ready in this release and it was a pleasant surprise that I discovered while testing the batteries before shipment. The instruction sheet had not been updated yet but all the Go-go's that went out this weekend are the Smarter Go-go's!:2cool:

SSV2's detailed review of the Go-go should be coming out very soon but every time he thinks its ready more info or questions arise!

Happy vaping!
Frank:p

*** After speaking with the factory it seems the on and off option is not considered an official feature of the Go-go yet so that they would not guarantee all future units would have the feature( so Cigeasy can't either). My guess is they still have a bunch of chips without the feature. I will update you when the next shipment gets here.

I currently have three or four generations of Go-go batteries going back to November of last year. (Including one prototype).

It appears that there was a significant revision made with the center post and improved internal wiring on PCB from last year to February of this year and again in late March with the arrival of the 3rd edition to Cig Easy.

The cartomizers were produced without the stickers instead having the new powder coating and the ohms seem to test out more consistently. The previous LR cartomizers I tested were all over the place in resistance from 2.3 to 3.1. Although, Cig Easy does not offer both choices of HR or LR from the 60 or so carts I have personally tested with my DVM the ohms remain within a range that is consistent and seems to be the sweet spot for optimal performance for this type of battery.

The carts are also able to stand up to my 5 volt pass through using the adapter without burning issues. I am still testing these on every 808 battery I own as well noting any variables depending on viscosity of e-liquid used (i.e. high to low VG vs. PG etc.)

I do not have one of the new revised technology smart switch batteries in hand to verify, although will be receiving one shortly to take apart and photograph the internal microchip to confirm that it is indeed different than the previous chip. I also have not tested one of the finished 808 adapters to confirm that it works the same as my modified fix from previous shipment. It worked well though was not ready for prime time.

It is possible that there might have been some of these smart technology switches in the 2nd batch? although the batteries I have from last shipment do not turn on and off by clicking the button three times. Again, I will have to take apart one of these from previous batch to confirm.
In comparison to my previous edition batteries I have not noted them to be inferior to any others I tested from Cig Easy and NHaler in past.

One a side note:It is almost impossible to predict what the manufacturer is going to ultimately send the vendor with each shipment. I am very surprised that this advancement has already been implemented in this recent shipment? Information can get screwed up from the time it passes from sales rep to engineer to company quality control rep and then assembly line at factory, shipping department...etc.
It took three months before they got the adapters right. Frank was finally was able to send them my modified working design and was pleased to hear the revisions were implemented with this most recent shipment! I still have to personally see it for myself of course!

So to save anyone from breaking open their batteries to take a look inside I will take on that detail and publish my findings on the forum along with photos. I am always the skeptic when it comes to any hearsay changes…I have to see it and test for myself! My concern is that the manufacturer remains consistent with these advancements on future orders to any vendor whether it be Cig Easy, NHaler or the possibility that any other vendors may jump on board with this PV in furure?

I was very pleased with the Go-go from the initial prototype from last year. I still have not recieved a kit from either vendor that was of lesser quality than the one before. ...it is just a added perk that Kanger is working towards improvements and they are actually paying serious attention to Frank’s personal recommendations. I will update this thread when I can rip apart one of these new bats and compare it to my others. :matrix:

I do intend to post a full review on the Go-go...I am just not comfortable publishing anything until I can confirm everything is 100% accurate to the best of my knowledge rather than from just speculation?

Yeah, I may be a vendor or suppliers potential nightmare in that if I do not think a product is worth the hype..I will tell it as I see it and let everyone else decide for themselves! I still hope to own a different Go-go battery for every day of the week and modify in different colors!

Maybe, eventually one for every day of the month?
