I know. Me too. I think when his gf move down from the Great White North to be with him, he found better ways to spend his time.
Oh, and I thought of a smooshed veggie combo that's a must-have for me: when having pot-roast, I first have to thoroughly smoosh together all the potatoes, onions and carrots on my plate, then add a little au jus from the pot, and re-smoosh. Then they are the perfect side-dish for the roast beef! (Neener neener, Mark!)

It's not that I don't BELIEVE you.... BUT....
Mark I'm a very dedicated mashed potato and pea combo eater, nummy Oh and Thanksgiving, that with a bit o' stuffing and cranberrie sauce

Peas and mashed potatoes? Never tried it. Corn and mashed, oh hells yeah!! Keeps the family from whining about me using ketchup with my mashed during the holidays....
good all out and mixed the peas, corn & mashed spuds (spuds is the universal mixer!!!)
Does anyone else mix peas with mashed potatoes? That's heaven to me
Mark, I make creamed peas to put on the mashed. It's just a white sauce with a lot of butter and half and half makes it oooohhh yummy. That goes great with fried or baked chicken.
