Yup. There've been a few hints dropped and much speculation, but the Man Himself has been all hush-hush. I'm hoping maybe mid to late summer we might all get our minds blown. That gives me time to save, plus I'm hanging on to a pricey, but more and more obsolete BF rba, so when the time comes I can sell it and hopefully fund what I think will be my next Reo purchase.

Sigh....... Is there away just to direct deposit my paycheck to Rob? Cause I have a feeling he is gonna get most of it anyway :p

I was thinking after I wrote it (like I typically do - not before or while) that Shelbee might find that in poor taste. I'm really glad you didn't . :). I already like you kid. :) It's too funny that I was thinking that may be the kind hummer being referenced and I was correct. GMTA.

Nice to meet ya Shelbee, I'm Russ

super_x, just fair warning that I'm going to blame you when my wife asks "why?" once the hammertone silver/black wrinkle Grand I just ordered moments ago arrives at Chez Plaz. :D

I blamed him the other night when I had the drill and other tools scattered all over our kitchen. I was drilling out the air hole on my hornet. "but Russ said...."

You guys gotta watch trusting my judgement. I am a freak of nature and y'all seem normal :).
The bigger airhole, once you get used to it, is great no?

normal?! bwahahahaha! At first I thought I wasn't going to like it, I think the 1.5 ohm coil was too much and was muting my flavor. I built a 1.8ohm coil and went back to cotton and all was well. 3 days later and I'm loving it!

"normal" he says...:D

Here's what I mean about trusting me and me being a freak :

Got 4 feet of Nextel coming cause yesterday I just loved it. Today, it just didn't have the same appeal (or maybe I just felt like rebuilding my RBA). Put a new coil (built off a new 16ga luer lock I just got) twisted up a little cotton wick, slipped it in and damn. Loved it :)

So me and cotton made up. She totally understood that I am quick to rush to conclusions. She said next time I want some strange, go get it, but don't elope or do anything stupid cause you'll be back. Buying 4 feet of Nextel and 12 feet of ecowool was stupid :)

I've come to realize that I don't need wick longevity - I like to build. Great stress reliever for me :).

Can you buy smaller amounts of ecowool? Wanna try it but don't need 12 feet lol

Remember my offer to send everyone bamboo, cotton yarn and silica? I have a damn milk crate full of "the world's best wicking material" what's in my atty? Cotton ball. I think you're right Russ...it's all about the coil building process. Very stress relieving, kind of like packing and lighting up a tobacco pipe. I use to love that whole ritual after a long day at work

Below is a direct cut and paste from Wikapedia.... who knew??

Uses [edit]

A display from a British cotton manufacturer of items used in a cotton mill during the Industrial Revolution.
Cotton is used to make a number of textile products. These include terrycloth for highly absorbent bath towels and robes; denim for blue jeans; cambric, popularly used in the manufacture of blue work shirts (from which we get the term "blue-collar"); and corduroy, seersucker, and cotton twill. Socks, underwear, and most T-shirts are made from cotton. Bed sheets often are made from cotton. Cotton also is used to make yarn used in crochet and knitting. Fabric also can be made from recycled or recovered cotton that otherwise would be thrown away during the spinning, weaving, or cutting process. While many fabrics are made completely of cotton, some materials blend cotton with other fibers, including rayon and synthetic fibers such as polyester. It can either be used in knitted or woven fabrics, as it can be blended with elastine to make a stretchier thread for knitted fabrics, and apparel such as stretch jeans.

In addition to the textile industry, cotton is used in fishing nets, coffee filters, tents, explosives manufacture (see nitrocellulose), cotton paper, and in bookbinding. The first Chinese paper was made of cotton fiber. Fire hoses were once made of cotton.

The cottonseed which remains after the cotton is ginned is used to produce cottonseed oil, which, after refining, can be consumed by humans like any other vegetable oil. The cottonseed meal that is left generally is fed to ruminant livestock; the gossypol remaining in the meal is toxic to monogastric animals. Cottonseed hulls can be added to dairy cattle rations for roughage. During the American slavery period, cotton root bark was used in folk remedies as an abortifacient, that is, to induce a miscarriage.[39]

Cotton linters are fine, silky fibers which adhere to the seeds of the cotton plant after ginning. These curly fibers typically are less than 1/8 in (3 mm) long. The term also may apply to the longer textile fiber staple lint as well as the shorter fuzzy fibers from some upland species. Linters are traditionally used in the manufacture of paper and as a raw material in the manufacture of cellulose. In the UK, linters are referred to as "cotton wool". This can also be a refined product (absorbent cotton in U.S. usage) which has medical, cosmetic and many other practical uses. The first medical use of cotton wool was by Dr. Joseph Sampson Gamgee at the Queen's Hospital (later the General Hospital) in Birmingham, England.

Shiny cotton is a processed version of the fiber that can be made into cloth resembling satin for shirts and suits. However, it is hydrophobic (does not absorb water easily), which makes it unfit for use in bath and dish towels (although examples of these made from shiny cotton are seen).

The name Egyptian cotton is broadly associated with quality products, however only a small percentage of Egyptian cotton production is actually of superior quality. Most products bearing the name are not made with the finest cottons from Egypt.[40] one of the best materials used when vaping on a Reo with a RM2

It has arrived, and it is gorgeous! A thing of beauty.

I'll post a pic when my 2nd RM2 arrives in a couple of days. But for now, it is indeed Hammertime.
