Andria just because you're not familiar with quinoa doesn't make it bad.. Others may not be familiar with teriyaki...
BK- just count yourself lucky!
Pronounced: "Keen-wa."I think I gained 5 lbs just reading that.
On the other hand... just reading about all the exercise going on in this thread makes me tired. I'd say it's time for a nap, but it's nearly dinnertime. Which is leftovers from last night... chicken teriyaki with broccoli, over brown rice. It's possible to eat well and deliciously without eating things I can't pronounce.. like "quinoa."

Try it, its much better for you than brown rice, and different!
Its not prohibitively expensive, BTW.

Weight is steady. No treadmill last night, but I walked many steps for work yesterday. And my coworkers thought I was crazy...every time I came to stairs I ran up them as fast as I could. My inner thighs are killing me today. Today we walk at lunch. Hopefully tonight I can hop on the treadmill.
Quinoa is fantastic! It does take some practice to get the flavors you want with it. It's a food that leaves you feeling energized rather than weighed down after eating. Yum.
