Got my 4 miles in. We went out for dinner and I was going to be good. I had a salad to start and ordered chicken parm. Well I got even gooder (new word...sue me) the meal sucked. Didn't eat any of the chicken...it was that bad. About a half cup of the spaghetti and red sauce...it was that bad. I had a small slice of the pizza that a couple of others had ordered. And one bite of greasy, way too much garlic chunks, roll.

So the key to not overeating while dining out...... go to a crappy place or order something that you don't like. Makes it soooooooooooooo much easier

Robin, that's frustrating and good at the same time I guess. Good that you didn't overeat, but dang, paying for a crappy meal sucks.

I'm going to fall short on my 10,000 steps today but I was over by 5,000+ yesterday. It will work out fine by the end of the week. :)

SIL took us out and the restaurant took the meal off the bill. It was obvious that I didn't eat it. I really think that the meat was veal and not good at that.

I normally do not send things back but this was that bad. They said it was chicken...well, I have Never seen chicken with fat like that on it  Anyway...it's all ok. :) Snacking on some melon and veggies right now ;)

I just did 10 min on the elliptical to get my steps up.. The fitbit does motivate me to keep moving.

LOL Uh huh.. That is what I use you all for. :D you all are my fitbit
I can't stand to have anything on my wrist. No watches, bracelets.... I don't even wear jewelry, just my wedding ring.

I don't even wear my wedding ring Robin. My wife put it on me for the wedding ceremony and I haven't seen it since. She got the cheapest one she could find cuz she knew I'd never wear it (she was good with it though). I don't like anything on my body. I wear clothes only so I don't get arrested. :)

It is taking some getting used to. I wore it on my left (dominant) but switched it to my right tonight. I normally wear a watch all the time but this is more fitted so I notice it more.

The make them to clip on to your clothes or carry in a pocket (without HRM). Risk of laundering it is too high for me there.

Down 1.1.. Sweet!

:D YAY!!

Down .2 here. LOL I'm doing the s l o w S t e a d y weight loss

I am going to use today as a down day. I may get on the elliptical and just do a couple of miles walking. Just to do something without too much strain on the hips. I think I will also get out my light weights and do some arm exercises.

I am going to lay on my back and bring my arms up while extended holding the weights. Just a little something to do.

Sorry the meal sucked.

I've noticed my taste buds have really changed. I went to a place I used to love over the weekend and ordered my old favorite. It was just not as good as I used to think it was. Starches now generally taste bland and lifeless to me. I suppose that's a good thing!

This was just bad food. New management. It wasn't a favorite of ours, SIL's husband liked the place. Her husband has an upset tummy today. He couldn't eat his meal either.

How are you??!?!?! Haven't seen you around in a while! Miss you
