The i06 Sleeve

Just tried to get my wharfsleeveed io6 into the empire mods shield, it didn't want to go past the top O ring and I was too scared to push. I'll try again later lol

Mine fit, but I ended up removing the top empire ring to improve air flow.

If you put a little juice on the o-rings and the sleeve it should slide thru with a twist.

I have to say that I LOVE this thing Wharf! I have to admit that I have been using the same little black io6 tip for 8 months and kept wondering what I needed this for Among other things, the draw is awesome!

I've got a wood feeder with stainless button and catch cup -- the sleeve with a shortie SS drip tip makes for a really elegant setup (office attire)

try going from the other direction, and use e-juice for lube, I cannot remember what direction worked for me but the first direction I tried did not want to go without excessive force, the second way ( I think 510 adapter end first?) was still stiff but it went on without damaging the o-ring, this stiffness means it stays put once assembled

I bought my first i06 with a sleeve. The draw is very stiff. Is this normal? I have never tried an i06 before so don't have anything to compare it to.

If is too stiff for you, take a pin or a exacto knife and clear out one of the air holes above the thread and try it out. If that's not enough, do the sand to the other side. But one side should do it.

Anybody have any ideas how to get the casing of the io6 out of the sleeve? Both of my sleeves are now useless because the casing of the atty stayed stuck inside??

did the atomizer threads completely separate from the casing?

Yes, the casing is stuck inside of sleeve and I can't figure out how to get them out.

You got it lap.

Rock the top of the casing has a flange. Use a nail head or something else with a flat head to push it back out.

You might try a little soak in alcohol, followed by a water rinse, too -- you may have built up a little eliquid gunk, acting as an adhesive. Do the soak before tapping, to loosen it up.

Or freeze it. I used needlenose pliers to pull one out that came apart on one of the other older tips Iken sells once. The Sleeve I got from Wharf works flawlessly. Damn good design.
