My SW worked flawlessly from the get go....the blue one was a diff story but I could fix that....I could not fix the iHybrid. There was no fix....I keep hearing from face as he posted here, that those issues from back then have been addressed and fixed today, that did not correct the issue for those back at the beginning who paid more for a lesser quality device than what is suppose to be available today.

I wasn't here at the beginning, however many of the people here where. Those that had issues with the v1 sent it to Face and he sent them new units, but there have been a few that say they still use their v1 even tho they have newer iHys.

Now you said you had to get this off your back, you did so. There is no need to insult people in here, and it shows just hows little you care about yourself, but I guess that goes hand in hand with you saying you only have the past. For that I pity you.

LOL thanks for the joke. Livened up the thread.

Hey I don't feel like I got the ... end of the deal. Unless... I got tricked....

LOL

Hahaha well ... end is a bit harsh, but its like when I got my first tablet... Just a month later the new four times faster, better screen and free porn model came out. All while being cheaper.

I was a little disappointed but that's what I get for going out of my way to get the first one.

Lmao....it's hard to retract something that wasn't accepted....I saw your post but I would be so fecking critical of the device due to the bad taste in my mouth, that it wouldn't be a good idea.

yeah, I'm so bad for asking to pay shipping on a new tank and then to offer a free updated unit with free shipping, makes sense to me, you win

My first computer was an 8086 that cost $5999.99 (I'm dating myself here) and it ran DOS (an archaic operating system we used to send people to the moon) mediocre (at best)... it had issues like randomly erasing my floppy disks (yeah those existed too, not just myth and legend)... it was a lesser quality device than the macbook pro I have now. You have a point, I'm calling IBM tomorrow, they better fix it for free, none of that shipping stuff either. My EGO-C is a little lacking too.. they have those new twisty things now..

Things are always getting better and cheaper as the process is refined, that's a good thing. This is what allows better quality things to be made. build, evaluate, improve. If there wasn't a concern over quality, and happiness this wouldn't be a 1700+ page thread where the maker checks in daily.

Murdock - getting warm up there yet?

again, sorry all.. I'm shutting up now.

Fair enough.

You might have gotten lucky. I'm not sure. I talk with a group of guys from VaperCon on a daily basis, we're good friends. None of their SW's worked very well or at all. We spent a few days exchanging ideas, removing anodization from the bottom bridge, rigging o-rings into the kick by pass to keep the spring standing straight. We spend a lot of time working on 6 SW's. Got the fixes, all good. Now every single one of us has leaking from the bottom of the tank. Seeps all over the mod. So mine is still shelved. I like it...wish I could use it without getting covered in juice.

The Cobalt one...yea mine wouldn't glow the coils. I removed all the anodization, still didn't work very well. It fired at that point but I know what these can fire like so I knew it was still down on power. Some of that evil banned anti oxidant substance, some sanding and some spring adjustment so it rubs the centre post got it fixed up.

The black one...ughhhhh. Didn't even fire not even a little bit. Same story as the cobalt on but a bit different. I saw it grounds in a different way as the switch doesn't .... up agains the body and all the threads were anodized. I removed all the stuff from the threads...same treatment as the cobalt one and its firing. Same kind of deal. Getting fast at fixing these now so it didn't take that long. Little disappointed on that one to be honest. It just didn't fire...you couldn't even warm the coil a little bit. Works good now.

The matte finish one. Works great. Won't take any drip tip made by man. Milled a drip tip down for it...works great now. Not mawn, not anything I have in my collection. Circumference was simply to small. No problem, I have tools and milled one down.

My first SS mini...well you know the problems with that as you helped me fix it.

Maybe I'm unlucky but I'm 0 for 5 on these.

uhhh, those fully aluminum mods are less quality than the other mod, at least I'm not going backwards :)

They aren't fully aluminum....the switch isn't and the positive post running to the top screw inside the aluminum tube in the tank that contacts the batt is SS. Not the cheap SS, 316 LBM (implant grade).

No one has ever commented in the quality of those devices....but I guess you gotta dig somewhere. Plus this isn't a comparison if just that device....I have DIDs and had two a cobras that vaped better....lets not forget the Orion.

Wow just realized Cyrto got both the First 12 and an Original 50.

It is your opinion that it was great.....I hold share that opinion.

Well since we're all here sharing our opinions thought I should throw one in too.

Everything you said is your opinion, which hasn't been my experience.

This could have easily been taken care of off the thread but clearly your opinions are so important it needs to be blasted like this.

Also realizing you got 2 units for the price of 1 and complaining about price?

Ugh sorry for the mini rant. Hate it when people have to shoot their opinion but get all offended at anything that doesn't coincide with their thoughts.

Edit: Can we please end this?

I saw a video that said the leaking juice from the bottom was fixable by removing the tank and wiping the o-rinds dry and reassembling. Mine don't leak at all so I don't know if that will work but may be worth a try.

I remember DOS. I also payed $500 for my first DVD player. Not six months later they were selling for $200.

It's too hot, people keep throwing wood on the fire.

I was not one of the first 12 that got an extra.....I received one for my money.

As I said earlier I don't come here to hang with friends....it's about chasing the perfect vape....I posted my opinions quite watered down in another thread....face came over and someone noticed....I know him and knew he would comment....so I decided to type my opinions straight to the guy in his thread....just as he said he wanted.

The blue one? Mine had an anodized switch, aluminum, the post was blue (anodized) guess I got the wrong version. Did you even see the top of the iHybrid? Its identical setup to what youre comparing it to, you're not making sense. Only difference is the screw going up through the post is brass and is sprayed with silver to give it a much higher conductive hit. Seems you just want to whine. Lets not forget that I use 316 SS now also, so that doesnt make sense either

Apparently your not well versed on wrapping coils, incase you failed to notice, the iHybrid is the same exact setup as the zenesis, therefore your theory of it not producing the same is flawed, I use brass contacts which is far better than SS in conductivity. Thats why your zen will work better with a brass firing pin.

You havent seen a crooked tank on a green envy, you saw the one in the classies that was crooked and he explained that he didnt have the top cap pushed all the way down, so your wrong there also, please educate yourself on a pic before jumping to conclusions.

I do agree I shouldnt have rushed but I was excited because I made something I loved, for that I apologize.

You guys in that other thread crack me up with the price of the aluminum and SS of the iHy and then rush off to drop $250+ on a device that is all aluminum that has firing issues. Contradictions Contradictions, I'm tired of the bashing and false rumors, come say what you need about the iHy in here, its welcome, I love constructive criticism, but not too fond of false statements or assumptions. Ohms and such are also allowed here

Gosh! You sure do talk crap about the guy you stole your ideas from. Hubris!

What did your buy from Mike at VC2? Or was that just somebody who bought it for you? :p

Windows 3.1!

Anybody remember MD players? Man talk about wasting money down a dead tech tree.

I had a MD player/recorder!!.. and used it twice.. I also bought a LaserDisk (you know LAZER records?).. only got one movie, Clerks.. I still have the disk so I can show my kids some day and they can gawk at the size and ask me "so the movies didn't fit on the hard drive installed in your head? " .. and I can answer back "no kids, we didnt have those in my day".. ok thats just freaky.. I'd never let that one happen.
