sooooo....The first gen mod that needed changes to make it better for users is a problem.. but the other experienced mod maker at vapor-con that HAD issues is just fine?

Seems Legit

all mods need tweaking at times, but nothing can be done unless its communicated ( I dump girls that think I should be able to read their mind). I have never met a modder/maker that didn't want the customer to be happy and would do anything to make any error right. There is a learning curve when you start making things.. most important thing is, that errors are fixed ;)

Guess you a bit thick....the other vendor created the fix and shipped it for free.....face told us we had to pay and that was just the tank.....all the fixes that you supposedly enjoy today was just the way it was back then....you would have had to get a new device I guess, I was out before the Pluid edition rolled out and right after the ano black and green tube kits rolled out.

It would be "I guess you are a bit thick" or "I guess you're a bit thick"... proper english is a great way to start off when proving a point (since we are getting personal). I'm clear on your point, I'm just saying that the "experienced" mod maker still having issues shouldn't be more or less acceptable than a first gen mod that had issues and fixed it. Regardless, either maker was willing to fix the issue. This is all about learning, improving and making a better experience for the users. First gen anything is expected to need tweaks, early adopters know this. If thats not your cup of tea, then wait for v2 or v3 and then get one.

Murdock, I think I have enough wood cut to warm you up there in Alaska...

My apologies all.

Crypto,

I get you have gripes. I always wondered why you disappeared from the thread. I don't know any of the back story, just what I'm reading now.

I can't speak for you but out of the 4 devices from that show you are talking about none of mine worked. They all needed modification, done by me. 2 of them didn't even fire. Ok one of them "fired' but at 3.1 volts on a fresh battery.

I don't think it's fair to say one device had issues and was fixed by the vendor. Was it fixed? Absolutely and it was fixed quickly and for free. For the most part that is. The tanks still leak out the bottom on many units. Lots of people got black devices, cobalt devices and even matte finish devices that simply didn't work.

For me it was easy work if a little time consuming and I actually like doing it. No skin off my back. Just saying my stuff was 0 for 4. Could I just vape it? Nope.

You didn't have to use easy off either....I didn't. You chose that....and according to your post in that other thread you grabbed it out of the kitchen, so it was originally purchased for the wife, you knew it would work because you had used it on ano tubes yourself.....does making lame excuses make you have better customer service today....I guess things really haven't changed....it seems the past is the present huh.

My SW worked flawlessly from the get go....the blue one was a diff story but I could fix that....I could not fix the iHybrid. There was no fix....I keep hearing from face as he posted here, that those issues from back then have been addressed and fixed today, that did not correct the issue for those back at the beginning who paid more for a lesser quality device than what is suppose to be available today.

Try typing on an iPad....sometimes words get missed or auto corrected and I'm not taking time to re read before posting.

Can we please stop this? The issue seems settled.

As another original 50 owner, purchased at the same price and I'm not complaining.

I even flame polished my original 2 bad tanks to solve the leaking issue (proceeded to break these but you could have fixed the issue).

Not sure what other issues you had but if price is your gripe, you could have waited for a V2.

Been around the vape world for awhile and usually V2's are better than V1's. I just wanted a Gen device now and Face made a great one that was readily available.

uhhh, those fully aluminum mods are less quality than the other mod, at least I'm not going backwards :)

Lmao....it's hard to retract something that wasn't accepted....I saw your post but I would be so fecking critical of the device due to the bad taste in my mouth, that it wouldn't be a good idea.

Exactly. Most early adopters get the ... end of the deal. It's time to get over it.
