i am also a fan of how the new switch looks, and knowing Face's track record, it'll work really well. perhaps i'll have to speed up my projections for ordering an LE to go with my standard, though i'm waiting to see if/when something a little less "fantasy" and a little more "techy" piques Face's interest

The HR will be my first iHy. I understand the need to change the switch's functional design but I'll be a sad panda if I end up with an HR and no pentagram engraved on the switch. I suppose I'll get over it if it means you get to keep making devices, but it will be a bummer as the LE switch engravings really add to the special tingly feeling I imagine you get just from looking at it and taking it all in.

*edit* And just like that face alleviates my reservations with a post while I was writing all that. I'm fully down for the new switch on my HR now. Bring it on.

I'm diggin the new switch... I'm even ok with one coming on my HR, provided the engraving is on the bottom of the new button

I love everything about the current switch, and the ingenuity that went into it to make the batts fit secure, lock, actuate, etc... but to me it always seemed a tiny bit on the "janky" side, functionally it's great though (if not a little wobbly while upright and "unlocked")

I really like the idea/functionality of the new switch and may (probably) get one for my Dragon. Guess I'll have to F5 away to get one of the upcoming LE's to get the new switch

ok so I like it,
I would not mind if that came on my new HR

I don't understand why the outside casing of the switch can't be anodized though?
I understand the button itself and insides need to not be but the part everyone sees?

On to the oring part from a few pages back.

I only had 1 oring come with mine and its not as tight as I would like but I have not had the cap come completely off like the zen does every time I sneeze on it.
I am sure the tank protector helps hold it on but I think I will find some of the larger orings as well...
