Hey I just starting using my new AIR STONE WICK! don't pop coils anymore, the flavor is amazing.
Maybe you could oxidize your wick then anodize it, c if that works! Has anyone tried that?
Haven't tried the stone wicks yet, still waiting to try out a glass wick when it comes in. Luckily a supplier was offering the glass wicks free with optional beer money donation. (I'm serious you really had the option of what beer you bought the maker lol, I gave him an IPA i think) So it has been working well? How good does it wick and have you noticed any bits of your wick go missing? I know that wicking performance and particulate corrosion were concerns.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

I was always interested in the iHybrids, and from what I can see these APVs are heading in the right direction. New designs for the collector type, parts being upgraded or redesigned. There's always something new coming up, and things never stay stagnant.
I think that is one of the best parts of the iHybid, that it never gets stagnant :) The original device worked great, the next version even better, and so on. Faceless also has fantastic customer service and when something does go wrong with an order or part he takes every step possible to make it right.

I really like that though he puts out new LE's quite a bit, it doesn't stop him from innovating new products such as his Synthesis atty and the new switch. He found something that works great and didn't rest on his laurels, he just builds upon each success.

But anyway I digress, welcome to the thread and the ranks my friend. :)

So cartos don't use silica for the coil? That's what I've gathered from everyone's recommendations, but I don't know for sure. Never cracked one open to see.

they do, i never vaped them but I sometimes order those smoktech cartos to cannibalize and get the thin insulators out for my petar k unoxidised wicks because I can make them thicker w/ those than mikes insulators, though mikes last a whole lot longer..... theres a small bit of silica or cotton or something that they use to touch the pollyfill to wick the juice tot he coil. I was thinking about what you were talking about, the did clone was what I used on a pink ego twist to get my gf to try her first genny, now she wont vape anything else lol, she sold all her chinese attys and egos off a while back but it looked something like this

the only prob is that it doesnt have the width of the 22mm pv's that she currently prefers, so it would get knocked over pretty easily she still loves vv/vw so she uses a kicked gus tele/zau or pro/zap mini at home and out of the house a Gus 16/GTUS(<-talk about a pain to set up) because its ego size and she can lay it on its side or upside down in her purse and it wont leak so you can use something like that if they need a non-leaking genesis w/ SS mesh, though I have a particular hatred for the GTUS though, prolly cause im the one who has to set it up and deal w/ all the shorts/wicking issues, and because the draw is so tight (close to what I remember our penny being like). wow sorry for the rambling lol.

1. Your coil dies at work and you don't even swear out loud, you just wrap another from your lunchbox.
2. You don't have to lick your top cap to find the air hole. But you do it anyway.
3. You break your tank at work then calmly walk out to your car and get your spare iHy.
4. You know your ihy pro when 1 and 3 don't apply to you because you have been on the same wick for 2 months and you use the tank protector.
5. You look at the airhole in your friends Katana and know right away you wont like the draw, then try it anyway just to prove yourself right.
6. When someone shows your their "top-of-the-line" Blu kit, you just laugh.
7. When the first thing you pack when going out of town to visit fam is vaping supplies, and your family has a worried look on their faces after seeing you try to explain vaping to them while crouched over a wick/coil like smeegul from lotr.

8. Your friend has a hot spot on his. Gave it a nudge. Boom. All glowing. Like a bauss

Virginia is for vapers
I'm curious what Phr0st was going to say too, lol! And in either case I'm wondering what that material is....hmmm... either way I think I'm going to order some dual coil cartos, an ego twist, some grey matter juice, and a kanger t3 so I can fiddle with it and see if the steel mesh in there is easy enough. Thanks guys, you've all been awesome in this. I'll keep everyone updated with his progress and see if ecigs stick with him. I'm sure they will, because I'm not giving him any choice :)
I was just going to say the same thing that was already posted about polyfil, but someone beat me to it. As far as the coils on the cartos. I think the coils is just that - a coil. I dont think it is wrapped around anything, kinda like a bigger shorter version of a light bulb filament.

9. You just found out that the money you spent on your vast iHy collection paid for Faceless's $200,000 bail.
