May have been my post on the epoxy :) After trying two different types of superglue.

I used an epoxy putty, JB Weld SteelStick. After kneading the parts together, roll out a thin "string" of it, and work it into the gaps, then clamp the whole thing tight until it sets. I wiped off the excess then, and let it cure. Barely noticeable, still holding well.

No film over mine, brought battery only so no box or anything either... Maybe I'm just picky! It's the rivet that is more concerning, it feels solid no play but it's sticking out slightly

Who did you get yours from?
I have a jwrap in mine so i dont even notice the rivet.

Just want to confirm that the itastevv3 from www.desertvapes.com is infact the new 6 rivot. For those who have plenty of chargers this is a steel. And keep in mind your phone chargers work. I use mine as a passthru with the car ohone charger. I also have two mvp chargers and another vv3 charger so i appreciate saving a few bucks to not have to get another one.

Just want to confirm that the itastevv3 from www.desertvapes.com is in fact the new 6 rivot. For those who have plenty of chargers this is a steal.

When I was looking for my 3rd iTaste V3 (for my "rotation")--since I also have "plenty of chargers"--I ran across their site. But when I called their 800 number with a question they seemed somewhat "unprofessional".

Interesting to hear that they are, indeed, legit. Did the one you received appear to be new?

today I received my 2nd Itaste V3. Although I missed out on the desertvapes special, I got it for $29.99 (includes charging cord which I don't really need, but came with it) including shipping on Ebay from a company called vaping Town in Modesto, CA. Ordered on 11/30/2013, received today 12/2/2013 in central Florida! Now THAT is fast! Especially free shipping! It is new newest version with the 6 rivets. Funny, the new one with more rivets rattles more than the old one with 1 rivet. I love them though, now if my fasttech order will arrive I will have 3!!! Obsessive compulsive shiny syndrome disorder.....

I have ordered two from them now.myes no doubt in my mind they are new.
I believe that in order to properly sell them at that price they have to break them down as innokin has a suggestrd mfr retail value. So desertvapes technically doesnt sell the full kit, they sell replacement batteries and replacement chargers

Has anyone found a long term solution to the sinking connector button? It has to be a quality control issue, since of the two I have, only one keeps having problems connecting with the clearomizers. I'll pry it up with a toothpick and it will work for a while, then when I switch to another tank it will be back to reading NON, even though the same tank on the other itaste works fine.

I love these, but I'm getting very frustrated with having to keep fiddling with this. I'd been planning to get a third one, but now am thinking that I'll need to wait until I can afford an MVP.

MVP has the same issue, its more of a problem with over tightening and different tanks not being equal.

I found the same thing as you did. My Pearl White version 1 that I bought from Sun-Vapers rattles very little. I "overpaid" for it, but for what it does, even $49.99 isn't too bad. I ordered my second black one from vaping town and it rattles like a baby rattle. However it did have an authenticity sticker and it checks out as authentic on the Innokin website. (The one from Sun-Vapers was made before Innokin adopted their sticker program, so it didn't have one)

I love it. I'm thinking on getting a third vv3 (chameleion) to rotate through. Love the battery and form factor. I'm never too far from a USB port so that's fine. The MVP 2's are great units but I prefer the smaller form factor

I couldn't help myself. Just picked up another one from vapingtown USA. Chameleon, this time. Desert Vapes is great, but when you add in their shipping cost then it's only about $2.00 cheaper.

Two bucks is almost nothing for the piece of mind I get by validating my product as authentic against the Innokin website.

I had the same problems with the MVP2, I bought 510 to ego adapter and no problems since, but will want a beauty ring to cover the adapter up though.
You can raise the post, but it will keep going back down.

I only had that happen to one Evod I had. I simply pulled the head on the bottom of the atty down a bit on the Evod and it fired. I have since retired my Evod and the issue doesn't occur on any of my Protank Mini 2's.

No, it is a design flaw. One should not be able to screw it to tight. There are to many threads on the ego threading and it causes the clearo to screw down to far. This is also the reason T2's and some evods can't breath on theses connectors (both vv and MVP). One or two less threads on the connector and a floating connection pin would solve any problems. Innokin has responded to several issues with each device and hopefully they will address this.

Like a dang maraca it rattles! How can one add structural integrity with additional fasteners and come up with an item that rattles even more than it did before? Very odd. Another issue that hopefully the V4 will address.

I'll repeat what I have said before: Never once have I seen a "fake" Innokin here or any where (accept as reported from Innokin themselves). Some one said they thought they saw one in a shop some where but that was it. One person who seemed not to be completely sure if it was actually a clone or not. This whole authenticity thing is a just a big marketing tool for Innokin. But frankly, from the credence so many seem to put on it, it is working. Innokin will "store brand" for large orders however.

I don't have any issues with US vendors. FT sells these things as well, and shockingly there are complaints from their users that the batterys are crap. Innokin specifically called out FT as not being an approved reseller and still people contend that Innokin is selling them out the back door to FT and that the sticker thing is just price fixing.

I figure if the manufacturer is specifically calling you out....
