1. There is a new Innokin iTaste VV, it has 6 rivets, and on Facebook INNOKIN says its significantly improved. I call it version 3.5 2. Stuff in China is copied all the time. Some Chinese companies use things like used resistors and alternate batteries on devices. The electronics to copy the device amount to the control chip, which the OEM chip maker is happy to sell to anyone. Refurbs exist. Clones exit. The thing is that with the current pricing how profitable is it to clone, I would not think so, because you have to build the box, the inserts, and the code on the box stops it. But you can sell them raw. Is a 6 rivet faked right now, I doubt it, but I am amazed at what can be done to make things cheap in China. 3. Saving 3 bucks to get an unboxed unit, without a charging cable is not worth it to everyone. I also doubt a vendor is going to risk a relationship with a customer to make 10 bucks once, and piss off a customer, on something They know is a clone. Most vendors buy from a supplier that carries many items, crappy failing iTaste would ruin that relationship, quick. If you want to buy that unit do it. Just realize that the cable is worth the 3 bucks, and makes a lovely stocking stuffer if you already have one. The box is nice for a gift. The thread is supposed to be about the device, not a bargain shopping thread for EVODs or whatever, and there are other threads dedicated to where to buy the 6 rivets for the best prices. There is no 19.99 Itaste out there, there are ones for 26 with no shipping, or 30 with free shipping. The ones on eBay are boxed with cord. It makes the most amount of sense to buy it from someone where you want to get other items along with it, and save the shipping on the other items. edit: My exciting scratch and sniff code from my box Works, 088021309034818687 it comes back as good. Now if they don't disable the code after I checked it, it completely worthless as a check edit2: Well it looks like it works as you would expect it to be designed. First day it just confirmed it was a good number. Next day: "This security code has been used 2 time(s)! The first check time is 2013-12-04 00:07:25"
