Hardly none of my EVODs work on this, bummer.

I think that has a lot to do with the eGo base on the eVod. I have four mini protank 2's and they have no issue. I use a Protank 2 with a mini protank base (better airflow in my opinion) and it too has no issues.

However I did have one eVod that just would not register.

If you remove the head from the evod, you can pull the bottom post out a little bit and correct it. Some other's have also pulled the bottom post and tied thread around it, so that when you push the bottom post back in, it doesn't sit flush with the lower rubber grommet.

I prefer glass, so all my eVod's have become PIF's.

I use an evod on mine sometimes without issues, my pro tank mini does not fire sometimes but it seems to loose when that happens. On another note I dropped mine vv night before last so many times while driving that it now has dents and the screen is pushed in a little but still working hoping it continues to can't afford a new one at the moment

You can also put a 510 to ego adapter on the VV3 and use a regular ego lanyard. Or head to your local hardware store and get an O-ring that's snug on the VV3, and use the lobster clip from an ego lanyard on it.

I find that having a device on a lanyard while driving prevents a lot of dropsies. Well, I guess it doesn't prevent them, but no harm! And I can always find my vape!

When my EVOD tank doesn't want to fire on my VV3 and even occasionally on a C-Twist, I tighten the tank onto the base. If that doesn't work, I crack it open and tighten the coil into the base. That fixes the problem 99% of the time. The remaining 1%, I have fiddled with the pin in the bottom of the EVOD coil or the post on top of the C-Twist. I haven't had any trouble with the post on on the VV3.

Just want to thank you guys again, I just got my replacement V3.0 from Vapingtown. My first one was from Fasttech and it was a bit cheaper but I don't want to wait a month for it. AND, they only had white, which I wasn't happy about. Once I got it, I was happy with the white because it's a pretty white (sparkly!) but this time around I got chameleon. :D I was considering getting an MPV 2.0 instead since I liked the V3.0 so much but it just isn't in the budget. The iTaste really isn't either but I gotta have it.

I'm so excited to have my iTaste again!

^^^mitch655 - Innokin makes a lanyard/pouch for the VV 3.0. It's not attractive but it might save your VV 3.0 from an early death.

I don't like anything hanging around my neck i usually just lay it between my legs while driving but Friday night I had to make a run with no sleep so everytime I got out of the truck (it seemed anyways) that it hit the floor or the ground and that's a long fall from the seat of a frightliner.

I have had my Itaste vv 3.0 for about 2 months now, recentally upgraded the tank to the Kanger protank 2 and have had absolutely no problems or issues with the protank 2. it fits right on and works really well. thinking about buying another one to have as a spare or maybe an innokin mvp, however i think i would want to have another protank 2 or maybe protank 3 for it.

I was on the lookout for a glass tank a couple weeks ago and stopped by my local shop. The guys there have always been a huge help to me and suggested the Aspire ET-S BDC (Bottom Dual Coil) over several of the other brands. I picked one up from them, few bucks more than your typical online sources. I know it's all personal preference/opinion, but I like this tank. Like others, it doesn't have a removable tip, but I'm still enjoying it so much that I picked up 3 more for a better price on eBay.

gerrymi, have you compared these to Boges and/or IKVs by chance?

Well...to tell you the truth...I just recently tried my first cartotank (and I'm now in the process of replacing all my clearomizers with them) (cartotanks, for me, are so much better with taste/throat hit/vapor and are, basically, fiddle-free.)

So...I haven't yet tried the Boges/IKVs...but the cartos I got from FastTech are every bit as good as the SmokTech ones I got with my IBTanked.

The Boge cartos are more dense then Smok cartos. I'm on the IKV's waiting list for the XL cartos. I'm liking the Boge but need to try the IKV's to compare. Having a high quality tank I see no reason to use cheap cartos. Now to order a few more IB Tanked.

Has anyone tried the 19mm standard tank?

Yep, that what I have and it works great. I posted a pic some place on this thread, but in case you can't find it.

I use Boge LR XL cartos in my Zen Carto. They take forever to soak up the juice, like a day for me. I don't use it very much because I figure I'm filling the cartos wrong but maybe that's not it...first they flood, then I get dry hits until it sits overnight. For me the fiddle factor is too much but like I said, I figure it must be me. Maybe it's the dense filling? I will say that once it gets going I never get a dry hit and they seem to last forever.

Thanks, gerrymi. I have never purchased cartos from Fasttech, so I was pretty curious about them.

For years, my standards are IKVs (when available) and Boges. I've used Smoks, and I agree with Speed. The Boges are definitely denser and need a longer soaking to get the ultimate in a long lasting carto. I would definitely go for IKVs over Boges, but as we know, that's not always possible.

Speed, I use a 19mm IBtanked standard on my iTaste.

And here's another with the IB and date, all dressed up for the evening. (The Raven takes an XL carto.)

And alisa (and everyone else), my accidental treatment of a carto proved to be the best thing that has happened to me in terms of priming. I inadvertently left the carto sitting/soaking in the condom cap for about a week. Oh MY! It was and still is SO good! With Boges and IKVs especially, the old rule of thumb about leaving them 15-30 minutes, overnite if possible, went out the window for me. Fill them. Let them sit! Just leave them, and what a difference it's made!

Katdaring you sure know how to show off your tanks. I used the thingy on my Boge carto and although it took about 18 open and closes it was well primed and ready to go. On the Smok carto it took half the time. I'm on the waiting list at IKV for both the XL and standard size cartos as I'm ordering another IB Tanked but in the standard size. IKV and Smok both have flanged cartos which I think are a lot easier to install. I have to admit the 19mm XL lasts me all day.
