My only complaint is that I thought at least some sort of tip would be included -- it was not. But, this turned out to not be a major issue as I found the tips to the Aspire Vivi Nova and Mini Nova fit just fine -- not to mention the tips from the Mini PT2 fit nicely as well. (Couldn't decide between having a black plastic tip or the metal tip from the PT2... still going back and forth).
When you order a complete tank there is a drop down for the IBTipsy, which is their tip. Maybe you missed that. It does add 9 bucks to the cost of the tank. It's a little pricy, as it is made in the US, but it has a recess to make it fit snug to the cap. It is supposed to match the color of the caps but, at least with the green I bought, it's a '"slightly" different green.

And at the very bottom there is a $2.50 option for their drip tip, which you can use to change a carto and refill your tank.

Katdarling you are an encyclopedia of knowledge. I'm not sure if you were trying to hypnotise me with the Ohms law chart, but it does make sense. Now if you want to know about horse power, engine timing, or how to rebuild a engine on a 1966 Chevelle I can be of help.

I really do love the VV3's I bought and the MVP2, and for now I have enough mods to allow me to enjoy vaping. Rebuildable atts are not in my future, and I am clueless about threads on the DNA20. Give me my tools and a old greasy engine. :)

PS Don't leave this thread.

Yep. I have one and use it for refilling. I thought it was a bit long and ugly to use as a regular tip, but you certainly can if you're so inclined.

Certainly not a prize winning drip tip but it works great for refilling. It really snaps into the carto well.

Speed, my pleasure! I realize that I'm in a small crowd here, meaning that most iTaste VV owners are of the newer vaping sect, rather than veteran vapers. I do see the value in this device, even for someone who has been vaping for awhile. As a vet, I see it as a FANTASTIC back up device, and equally useful as an out and about one. I'm not sure how much knowledge I have to offer, but whatever I've got, I'm more than pleased to share.

ALL of it seems confusing at first. Believe me, I was there, too. My first start up kit came with a 510 atomizer and a CARTRIDGE (no, not a karto... no, not a clearo) and a stick (cigalike) battery.

That was all I knew. I ended up dripping for a full year before finally deciding I could handle the "fuss" of a karto. It took another 6 months or so before I ventured into the world of tanks. Initially, I thought they were the most gross thing I'd seen. I detested seeing the vliquid swimming around on top. Now? LOL. Now I wouldn't have it any other way.

The confusion will diminish. You'll slowly begin to understand an ohm from a volt, and a 510 from an 801. Then, suddenly, it'll rear its ugly face again, as new and improved mods and toppers hit the market. It's the way of the vape.

Yes, higher resistance kartos do last longer, and put less stress on a battery. However, with VW, we don't need to worry about that. That was more the case for the old 3.7v only devices. Will they make your vape taste better? Yes, and no. That's totally between you and your taste buds.

Just want to thank you guys again, I just got my replacement V3.0 from Vapingtown. My first one was from Fasttech and it was a bit cheaper but I don't want to wait a month for it. AND, they only had white, which I wasn't happy about. Once I got it, I was happy with the white because it's a pretty white (sparkly!) but this time around I got chameleon. :D I was considering getting an MPV 2.0 instead since I liked the V3.0 so much but it just isn't in the budget. The iTaste really isn't either but I gotta have it.

I'm so excited to have my iTaste again!

What color is chameleon? I cant tell from the pictures, it just looks black to me.
I currently have a white and I <3 it

The best description I can think of is that it is "black with sparkles". The Black is a flat matte black and does not have the "clear coat" of the other colors. It has quite a different feel from the other three.

The chameleon is black, but it has sparkles in the clear coat that will change color depending on how light strikes it. In my car sometimes the unit has a blue tinge, and sometimes a purple tinge. It's actually quite interesting.

I received the 19mm standard IBTanked carto tank on 2/10. It is my first carto tank and I must say, I was truly impressed. I had been using Kanger Mini PT2, Aspire BDC ET-S, and Aspire Vivi Novas. I know it is just a glass tube with caps, but the simplicity is the beauty of these. My only complaint is that I thought at least some sort of tip would be included -- it was not. But, this turned out to not be a major issue as I found the tips to the Aspire Vivi Nova and Mini Nova fit just fine -- not to mention the tips from the Mini PT2 fit nicely as well. All I have to say, after using clearos since September 2013, I think I'm officially converted to these. As a side note, I can't believe the FAQ from IBtanked saying the 19mm standard only holds 1.5 mL of juice (not including the carto itself). I feel like there is a great deal more in there than the 1.5 + ~0.8 mL that the carto holds.

I am so constantly surprised and delighted to hear of such a HUGE resurgence to Karto Tanks! With the myriad of clearos available now, and most new vapers buying them as their beginning set up, it really still amazes me that people are actually turning to karto tanks.

Oh Speed, I am FAR from an encyclopediac. ;) In fact, I do know everything there is to know... and what I don't..... welp, I just make it up!

And next time I need to rebuild my '66's engine (HUH? ME?) ...

You made my day, kiddo, and I'm not leaving this thread unless you guys shove me out forcibly!

Mine came in today as a backup tp my mvp3. Odd question though, my mini pt2 tank works great but none of my evod tanks will screw all the way down. The threads are super tight and I tried 3 evod toppers, to see if I could isolate the problem. It appears that the threads aren't deep enough to fit the evod heads (if that makes any sense)? Thought I would ask here and see if anyone has seen this before.

I have MPT2v2's a PT3 and some clearo's. I really like my ST - DCT. I cut the carto a little too much and it will randomly flood just a hair every now and then. But honestly? For simplicity's sake? It wipes the damn floor with all the clearo's I've used. It is the tank I'm least worried about being upside down, bumped around or crammed into my little messenger bag.

I need to go easier on my dremel cuts on the carto itself. But I found mixing a slightly higher VG ratio version of my daily grind juice in with the (85PG/15VG) blend kills any chance of flooding whatsoever.

For relevance, I have two VV3's now in rotation. A black and white. The woman has basically usurped control of both of them, and charges one while vaping the other. So I don't really get to use it any more. But I have good toys too so it's all good!

See page 131. the majority of vv's seem to be fine, but a few of us have had serious issues with the ego threads being wonky. I have 2 that i put 510 adapters on so my various toppers would fit.

Mine is the same. But I have noticed some of the EVOD/Protank/X10 coil heads are a little different. Some are flat on bottom, some are a little curved, and as such are a little longer, and make connection, if I screw one on that doesen't connect, I pull the + out on the EVOD a mm or so to get connection.

I have old ego's, some ego twists, 2 SID's, and other batteries. ALL of my clearo's, tanks, and atomizers fit fine on all of them. No problems. Only the vv's (which I otherwise LOVE) have this problem. To my mind that means the VV3's threads ARE the issue.

Where's the POTIT (Pres of the iTaste thread)?

I think a Blog is in order. Perhaps someone who's had experiences with a variety of toppers on our little sweet device? That would not be me, as I'm not a huge clearo fan, but someone else here is..... I can FEEL it!

So Blog away.... then we can link any newcomers to it. Yeah? Whatcha think, guys?

Yeah, I saw this, but as my experience had always been with clearos, I assumed a basic one would be included.

This I didn't see otherwise I definitely would've bought it. Here's a question about carto-tanks... With clearos I would change flavors after a quick cleaning and my version pathetic version of a dry burn. Is a new carto required for a new flavor or is there a way around this?
