so which one is better? j-tank or the liquinator? or are they about the same? being stiff and super tight doesnt matter to me, i just really cant stand leaking, i want a nice big tank that is travel friendly so i can set it down and lean it in my cup holder in my car or w/e.

my MAP tank is leaking but in a place where most ppl dont complain about (on the bottom where the metal 510 male connection meets the black plastic piece) the o rings are perfect and its not running down the center through the atty or anything. so i assume mine is just defective. but i havent been getting reply from COV and its driving me nuts.

i want to try these carto style tanks they seem pretty good and super easy to refill.

anyone expirence any leaking with the j tank or the liquinator?

^^^^ I'm with ya ( besidides the leaking part) with mine ( map-tank) it gets about half used up and I have to "play" with the tank to get it working right again, or fill it up again , kinda a pain for a tank, just want something better, so witch one is the best choice ??

Been using the liquinator for a week now and no leaking.....have not tried the j-tank yet.....

How are you getting the MAP tank to leak? Make sure you've got the top cap sitting low and tight over the ceramic cup's silicone cap. If you need to, push 2 of those white o ring cover things into the top metal sleeve, instead of one, and make sure it's on there tight, covering the fill holes. Luckily my metal sleeve is in a perfect spot, keeping constant pressure on them at all times once I pop them in under it.

Occasionally I'll find my freshly installed CE2 that isn't seated well into the map tank bottom cap and allows slow leaks between the connector end and the bottom cap. A quick readjustment usually fixes this. Alternatively you could try this.

I have both. First off, the j-tank doesn not hold 3ml...more like 2-2.5ml. I like the liquinator better. It's easier to fill from either the top or bottom. The carto will move off to one side better in the liquinator where as it doesn't in the j-tank. Also, the caps on the j-tanks are taller and make them appear to be bigger tanks but really they aren't. They hold less juice because of this.

Keep at Bruce, he'll get you straightened out. It may appear that the o rings are okay but if they so much as have a nick or small tear, you're going to leak.

Yes, the liquinator is easy to fill. The j-tank takes some fanagalling to get it full.

The only leaking I've encountered has been on really hot days, chainvaping. The juice will get hot and become super runny (it doesn't matter which tank you get). You have to allow some time between vapes to let it cool. If possible, order 2 of them if you chainvape. If you use the dual coil cartomizers, letting cool is a must or you'll gurgle really bad.

I have a liquinator 3 actually 2X 3.3mls (holds more like 4.2 including juce in the carto) and 1X "phatty" 5.5mls (holds more like 6.4 same as before) and I love them never had them leak out even when chainvaping them, laying them sideways, in my pocket or even when left in a hot car for 3 hours during this summer heatwave the batteries on the other hand died. I was interested in getting a J-tank to try them out but every time I get ready to buy one they are always out of stock. So I just ordered more liquinators since they are in stock. The liquinator is really easy to fill up just push the carto down a bit and drip your juice in the tank. I use a syringe so that I can fill it up all the way. I was watching the A PBusardo Review of the jtank and noticed that he had a bit of a problem filling it maybe not a problem for everyone but it looked like there just a bit harder to fill the j-tank.
So here is a quick breakdown of good points/

PRICE:
-The jtank comes alone for (20 some bucks) if you add the slotted carto (2.25) and a drip tip (2.25) it comes out to about the same as the liquinator (24.95).

-The liquindator (24.95) comes with the tank a sloted carto and a drip tip all included in the price.

CUSTOMIZED:
-The liquinator
You can get the liquinator with black or white machined delrin end caps your choice for free.
Black drip tip or colored ones for $1
Black o-rings or colored rings for $1
Tank tints if you want it to match your PV 2 tints for $3 bucks (you will have to apply these your self but there is a youtube video on how to do it)

-The J tank
Comes with black ends only looks like a hard rubber in A PBusardos video (could be delrin but I don't have one to see what its made out of). There are some pictures of White caps on the product page but last time I was going to buy one it did not have a selection for white.
Drip tip from Electronicstix doesn't give you color selection so I'm going to say black.
O-rings black
No tints for the tank but you can probably buy your own stickers to put on them or buy tints from vaporescence.

WHAT IF IT BREAKS:
-The liquinator
Vaporescence sells replacement tubes

-J-Tank
Does not sell replacement replacement tubes yet

I will still be looking into getting a Jtank just to give it a go.
But I do have one tip no matter what tank you buy.
DO NOT!!!!!
I repeat DO NOT!!!!
DO NOT use straight peppermint oil flavoring drops, spearmint oil flavoring drops, cinnamon oil flavoring drops or menthol oil flavoring drops on polycarbonate tubes it will frost your tank and crack it.
You can vape these flavors only if its diluted into your juice.

For me, the liquinator wins.....I want it to work like it should , and I want ease to change the carto, the j-tank, to change the carto looks like the map-tank with ce2, not so easy to get out of that bottom cap, like I said I am also looking for ease of use. I will keep the Map-tank (still like it ) I just don't want something just as hard ( to change hardware) as the map.

Changing carto in j-tank is easy, its just pulls out and new one slides in.
my map tank just sits there, because its to darn hard to change ce2's.

I have the MAP and the Liquinator. So far I like the Liquinator better except it is VERY slidy. I use it on provari and I have very few issues but if I use it on an ego style battery there is no way to stop it from slipping DOWN towards the battery.

The MAP is OK but I hate fiddling with the rings and the wicks -- Liquinator is way simpler - I filled while driving with no problem whatsoever (just to see if I could!). Also, wicking on the MAP is inconsistent - sometimes it wicks TOO well (I found that Boba's was too sweet sometimes in the MAP), and other times the wicks seem to get stuck on the sides of the tank and wicking is reduced.

J-tank might be better - everything is a tradeoff - less slidy means harder to fill.

In general I think the J-tank liquinator are on the right track. We are all guinea pigs. The carto-in-a-tank needs to be perfected. Eventually the device should look like a cone (like an echomizer, which I also have).
