lol I know it is number 2 but I bet no small number of people will end up doing this anyways.
AWESOME! I got it today from the mailman.
ok, first problem with it so far... doesn't work- I tried to contact them- must be busy!
What am I doing wrong???
I took it out, removed the plastic wrapper...
sanded down the inside of my tube with 100 grit paper...
then 300 grit emery cloth...
Took some batteries off the charger and popped it in...
I'm using protected trustfire 18490's
(I know they were fresh, the light was green, and they were still HOT!)
I set it in, and it doesn't work?
I've tried all types of atty and cartos... 1.5 - 4.0 ohms!
ANY HELP?

sorry, but put a case around it or even just COLOR this wrapper...
it looks like something you SHOULD Remove!
(I know cases will keep in heat- but shrink-wrapping it doesn't?)

You're a more patient man than I am - I'd love to wait for revision 2 but alas I don't think I have that kind of self-control!

Seriously, they seem to me they know what they're doing.
Honestly, I couldn't care less what they look like. Functionality is king. So long as it works and works consistantly, I wouldn't mind if it closely resembled dog leavings.

The recommended battery is the AW IMR high drain.... The protected Trustfire 18490's are more than likely not cutting it...

Sounds like you are having some pretty serious problems there with your Kick, you should send it to me and let me fix it for you.
