maybe you can see what i am talking about. i dont think it shows very well in vid, and it doesnt work any more
Oh, yeah. Yours is different from mine.
The bottom looks the same - a little solder/flux/whatever on and around the screw. That's probabaly fine and present on all units.
But the missing plastic ring around the bottom brass piece, that's definitely not right. Mine goes all the way around, covers the whole thing top to bottom.

Tell me your thoughts on the indulgence. I found a good deal on a bare bones unit and was thinking about pickin one up. Is it stainless steel ? How's the construction? Thanks in advance.

Never seen one, but they are made of electroplated alloy from what Ive read......

I can't give an accurate review as I only like vaping SR at higher voltage, so I really only use the provari. It's very light, feels like an aluminum alloy. Although it's very light, it feels solid. Definitely not stainless. The button has some play and is clicky, if that makes sense. Pbusardo did a youtube video review on it and I have to agree with most everything I can remember from his review.

I think the indulgence is aluminum with plating of some sort. Or um...what was the question?
Lol, someone was asking about using the indulgence with the kick. I replied that I was going to try it if I can get my hands on a kick, then the question was asked about general quality and construction of the indulgence and if it was made from stainless. I said that it wasn't stainless but that it was light and felt like aluminum. I was told that the provari was, in fact, stainless and that I should read provape's website to verify. I then reiterated that I wasn't referring the provari but the indulgence.

You heard of anyone trying a kick with the indulgence? I haven't checked the inner diameter of the mod yet but I have a rough stack I can kick if the indulgence doesn't work for any reason.

Ok...so with my P+500...

If I take out both thick O-Rings at the tail end of the battery compartment and put one thing O-Ring with one washer I get a Kick in there without adding an O-Ring to the top cap...is there any reason why I shouldn't take both O-Rings out?

The button is a bit easy to fire off...but it still locks and won't fire while locked. I have one washer on the firing pin...is that needed? I could get more play in the button if I took that off.

I'm using my P+500 with The Kick right now. I have it setup with the thinner oring under the battery (which is absolutely necessary to use). No copper washers under the firing screw. And I did NOT have to use the oring on the top cap. The Kick fits perfect with the AW IMR 18350.

It's performing flawlessly. I don't know the batt life yet but it's still goin strong after 3 hours.

I tried the exact same setup today and got exact same results... No need for the o-ring under the top cap :thumb:

So..... for those of you that have received your kick, and are using it in precise mods, what are your thoughts on it?

I'm specifically looking for reviews on using it with a p18 or p+18, and the p+ 18500.

I'm using the exact same setup as you guys. P+18500 with one thin (0.070) o-ring under the battery, no brass washers on the switch, and no o-ring on the top cap. The fit is perfect, and it performs sooooo much better than I expected. Previously, I was using 1.25Ω DCCs. With the Kick, I switched to IKV 2.0Ω gold cartos and set the kick to 8.5watts, and boy did I get an unexpected surprise! The thing hit so much harder than the 1.25Ω DCCs that I had to dial it back to 7.5watts. It still hits harder than I'm used to, but at least I'm not coughing anymore!!! I'll report back on battery life too, but if I can get at least 3 hours like strprswpr then I'll be a happy camper.
