I need to try rayon. Have been using Japanese cotton for quite a while.

I have been using Japanese Cotton with zero leaking issues. The only dropplets of leaking I see from time to time is caught by the bottom base. That's why the Lemo drop design is awesome

Going back to the original post, the cotton should be ideally as thick as below.

For me rayon seems to improve on a few points. More efficient wicking, lasts longer, and does not have as harsh dry hit by far, if you're using kanthal and something goes wrong. Still need to play with the ammount, think my current wick has too little rayon, but still performs better then my japanese cotton pads. And I say this because with cotton I got temperature protect quite often, after switching I haven't seen that blink once. And I've even bumped the power a little to my liking.
So currently I'm running a 3mm ID 28awg ni200 coil, 8-9wraps, I never remember wraps anymore as they really don't matter too much. It ohm's out at 0.16, and kicks me into a happy place at 30W.

Hmm, I'll have to leave mine laying on it's side more, because since I got my vs rdna40 and started learning this without the frustration of dryhits, it has been my favorite setup. I am looking for 1 or 2 other tanks to compare/play with, but haven't found out what would even compare to this. And all the new rta's seems to be dual coil, which sounds like a big hassle with ni200.
IMO dual coils especially in a tank are unnecessary, and in many cases counter productive when it comes to flavor production.
Yes I know there are some that may disagree, but that's the beauty to modern vaping, we all have a nearly unlimited variety of configurations that allow us to dial in what we like.
As for me I'm a flavor junky, I greatly value flavor over cloud production, but that's not to say you have to sacrifice one for the other, you have to dial in fine balance between the two to suite your taste.

Now as far as Ni200, Lemo and DNA40, there is no better match the Lemo is a perfect platform for Ni200 builds.
And trust me when I tell you I've, bought, tried and either sold, traded or gave away nearly all currently available tanks including the Atlantis and Kanger sub tank and so far only only the Lemo has been able to give me the vape that I like.

I do have a Delta 2 with RBA deck, and extra LVC coils on order that I'm anxious to try out with conventional and Ni200 builds, the RBA deck is supposed to be identical to the Lemo, and I can't wait to put a Ni200 coil in one of the LVC heads and try it out.

I agree. Single coil setup is simple and effective.

Nice. What's your coil inner diameter? Is it 28g?

Urk, atlantis.. leftover taste, endless changing of coils, and too little flavor.
Guess I'll buy another lemo. I already have a drop on the way from slowtech. Shinyitis is a serious disease in here. I always want something new to play with. But then again I also want something stable that just fills my mouth with watery taste. haha

I've been using rayon for a while with good results but recently tried out some Japanese cotton. Personally, I am liking the cotton a lot more. It has a cleaner taste to me and I haven't had any issues with it. Then again, I've only tried it on the Lemo and this atty is just rocking it with the flavor. I'll try wicking it with rayon next and see if I notice a difference but I'm pretty happy with the koh gen do.

I started with KGD but switched to Rayon and haven't looked back. I personally cannot tell much of a difference - KGD was maybe slightly cleaner in taste, but the ease of use in Rayon won me over. I just find cutting and stripping the Rayon much easier to work with than the pads.

Just tried Willie's "cotton bridge" technique with Ni200 ... WOW. Why/how does that work so well? Is it simply just more "reserve" liquid soaked cotton feeding the primary wicks? This is what it seems like to me, as the coil stays "cooler" during the vape... I'm also able to increase my wattage without hitting TP like before. Not that before (without the "bridge") was bad ... this is just noticeably better!

Hahaha It's called P.F.M pure freeking magic.
Awesome isn't it?
I tried just a standard wick method again in one of my Lemo's yesterday and vaped it about 10 minutes before I found myself draining the tank and adding bridges.

I've got to say, your bridge method flat out works. All of my Lemo's are now wicked this way and I don't see myself vaping on them any other way!

Kudos sir!!

I Love Eleaf I think they make great products, but I'm putting my money on their parent company this round, unless I'm way off, and won't know for myself till it get here and I have some time to test it, but I'm betting that the Joyetech Delta 2 may just be the next Lemo, and convertible for when you just want to fill prime and go.
I'll certainly post a detailed review and comparison once I've had time to play around with it.

Not interested in the Delta 2.
