eleaf US posted a "what can we improve" thread over on reddit and someone asked the representative about a drop kit for the full-sized Lemo. The representative posted a link to the eleaf store and they now offer a drop kit. $7.99 plus shipping. I did a search in the thread and did not see it mentioned but if I missed it apologies in advance.

do you have link to the thread?

How often are you guys and girls tearing the build deck down completely to clean it? I have yet to pull the deck apart, but noticed what almost looks like a plating of the metal coming off. That or its some scummy film that isn't coming off with a simple rinse of the deck still assembled.

This photo shows what I'm referring to.

Advise appreciated!

I tear all of my attys down and run them through the sonic cleaner once a week. The ones that I'm using anyways.

I've got the SS finish lemo, so I don't have any sort of "flaking" or anything like that.

That kinda looks like some sort of heat stress... Is that positive deck tightened all the way down, nice and tight?

Looks like gunk to me. Tear it apart and wash it with Fantastic or 409, or something like that. I use heavy duty automotive cleaner (like a stronger version of 409) spray it on dry and rinse well. done.

edit: Don't leave it on long or it might fog up the black finish. Some of those cleaners are pretty caustic.

Few more noob questions.

1. How can I reduce the amount of vapor production? So far I've run coils from 0.65 to about 2.7ohms (all seem to create a lot of vapor). My mod goes down to 7w at the lowest, but due to irritation I am trying to reduce the amount of vapor. Would I need to make a 3-4+ohm coil, any advise? I mean I guess I could be less trigger happy but what fun would that be...

2. With the nest/bridge method, I notice the "nest" does get a bit browned from the coil. I can have for example a super clean wick, and a browned bridge. Is there anything I can do to reduce this? Lower/compress the bridge, or make it thinner? This method helps a lot, just curious if I can make it better somehow.

Thanks!

Edit: 3. Out of curiosity, do any of you use a non-stock tip? Any benefits or lack thereof, or recommendations?

1. one thing i have noticed is that running low wattages irritates my throat, but bumping it up to around 25-30 is really nice. granted its still alot of vapor, but it does smooth it out and are you sure its not you juice? what nic are you using? what the pg/vg ratio?

2. my bridges always brown first. althrough i found keeping them thin and as far away as possible helps.

3. alot of my tip fit loose onto my tank. but i haven't seen any pros/cons with using a different tip. i just a preference.

I've seen a lot of post here lately from people with (brown) not burnt wicks and/or brown coils.
I wouldn't worry about the browning, it's the burning you need to worry about.
I rewick once a week, and in that week I go through about 20ish ml of Wakonda and 20ish ml or so of Frenilla, both of which are rich vaping liquids.
Too much vapor huh  didn't know there was a such thing.
Can't have the flavor without the fog.
Perhaps you may want to think about cutting down on your nicotine level and/or adding some VG to your juices, both nicotine level and PG are known throat hitters so cutting your juices with some VG might help.

I'm about a month or so into vaping...about 20ml/day. My throat hasn't been happy and I am playing around with different solutions, one of which was trying to get less vapor...I think just overvaped, and dehydrated. I tried high VG, saline, DW, etc. VG isn't that innocent because it's very dense. I've tried a lot of things, right now I want to reduce density/overall vapor volume/production, including reduction of VG. Sometime a single exhale is the equivalent of a pack's worth of smoke. Would a higher ohm build theoretically reduce vapor?

FYI Boston didn't get any snow until I picked up vaping. I think the clouds escaped through my open windows and I apologize for all the snow. True story.

You may want to try, just cutting down the vaping.
    20ml a day is a lot:vapor:

Okay, well, got one built. Not too shabby or bad at all. Turned out 1.2 ohms
Tomorrow going to pick up some good wire and cotton and not use the china
made stuff that came in the box. Lol.
I did a standard coil with ten wraps. Didn't really know what size wire it was
its whatever came in the box. I'm shooten for a 1.5 build using 80\20 ejuice.
i like a little cooler vape. Anyone have anygood suggestions?

I use only Cherry Vapes Delrin tips on all my Lemos. Just seems to open up the vape more for me than the narrow tips that come with the Lemos. And they sit snug on the Lemos.
