Alrighty, folks. It's with great pleasure that I get to share a couple of new flavors I've acquired from VapingZone. I procured some Old Captain, B&H, Black & Mild, and Coconut (for Boba's clone recipe).
I mixed 5ml bottles of Old Captain, B&H, and Black & Mild. If curious, I mixed them all at 40/60vg (because I'm running low on vg, heh). 10mg, and all with 3 drops of flavoring per 5ml. They've had a solid 3 minutes of steep time, so, let's get to it.
Black & Mild - Hmm, what an interesting flavor. Surprisingly, it does resemble a little bit of a black and mild cigar, albeit a little sweeter, chocolate? Call me crazy, but, there is something in this flavor that reminds me of Copper Creek's House blend. Not an exact duplicate, but, were I to wager, I'd say that this could be an ingredient used in that blend? Or something resembling the flavor. It's sweet on the tongue, but feels like a tobacco on the inhale, and for that, I like it.
For the sake of brevity, never my strong suit, I will move on to the next blend, and try to keep these short-ish
Old Captain - Nice. Very smooth tobacco. This is a good one to get that burn while exhaling through the nose (To note: When I hit on my vaporizer, I tend to puff 3-4 consecutive puffs, exhaling through the nose at times before taking my final inhale and exhale through the trachea. Depending on the blend used, it can create a nice burning feeling in the nasal that replicates that harshness with OG <Original gansta> smoking). I can't really think of something to liken this flavor to, though I will say that this could make a very good mixer tobacco. It holds that feeling of traditional smoking, without the nasty flavor of actually burning something. Not bad, I say.
B&H - I've read that people get chocolate out of this blend, though, I am having a little difficulty tasting that. I will say that I have had tobaccos in the past, though I cannot remember them, that taste similar to this. Relatively robust, distinctive taste. Sort of spicy. I don't quite know about this one as of now. It's vapeable, but, I can't envision using it as an all day flavor.
All in all, they're not bad. I am revisiting the Black and Mild right now, and it's starting to remind me of a certain element in HHV tobaccos, but it's also reminding me of the CC House Blend. I believe there to be something similar within these blends. Or, my taste cells are playing games with me. If I had to guess, I would say it's the 'chocolate' element that's giving off that taste. Though, that makes little sense to me, because I taste HHV tobacco in Asian RY4
Also, I do not know if the Black and Mild would be a suitable base for a Boba's replica, though, I will put the coconut in it later to see how it shapes up.
Out of these, the B&H is probably my least favorite. Black and Mild has some really nice elements to it, but, I can't shake the little hint of HHV, thus making Old Captain my favorite out of these three flavors. Since I've got to go to work, I will work on these flavors later, retrying them to see if I can figure out what might go good with them.
More on this, and the Boba's clone, later on. Thanks for reading!
