I just talked to his mom, my sister. She's sure he has made arrangements.
He'll be on the boat until later, they're a couple or
three hours behind us. I'd have to look.
There are other guides at the lodge from FL., I'm sure word has gotten around.
The lodge has a phone, I'm sure.
He doesn't have a signal there, he can call via Wi-Fi if their Wi-Fi isn't bogged down, which by the time he gets up to the lodge after cleaning fish, it usually is, so he just rarely even bothers.
At this point, I feel like it's beyond what we can do.
I'm fairly sure he's made arrangements. At least for his SUV and his boat.
He rents, and I know he has rental
insurance, not sure if that covers floods or being completely washed away or not, but again, at this point, there's not much I can do from here.
The news conference I listened to basically suggested that if you planned to leave (Collier County) and go out of state, to try to do so yet tonight.
The longer the ones so far South wait, the more chance there is that a metropolitan area evacuates.
Basically more people than roads to carry them all out.

Their fear is that it will end up gridlocked and people will be stuck on the roads.
I don't have a good feeling about this. I hope and pray I'm wrong, and yeah, like Splat said, it's going to be devastating somewhere, just don't know where yet.
Robino, where going to steal a couple of your ideas.

I finished shuttle duty for the day, on the way home my son starts hmmm hawing around...ma...?do you have anything planned for tomorrow?No...why?
Could you go shopping for us tomorrow?

.So I get to have all the fun of lugging cases of water for 6 people plus lots of canned goods and other non perishables, oh joy!
Just finished watching the news, I just got very mixed feelings, even if it doesn't hit us it is going to cause havoc somewhere else.
Oh boy, you're going to have a long day tomorrow.
I hope supplies hold out.
