That is one of the ugliest 8 hours in my life!
They kept the supervisor and nurse there because they were afraid of a lawsuit.
Severe hallucinations, severe vomiting, severe paranoia...
I am terrified of phenegran after that. The second shot was, "because the first one wasn't effective and the vomiting was increasing."
DUH! It was on the first page of her records. She was 5 days from a by-pass and they "didn't want her to vomit and tear something loose."

Oh my god, that is just .... I have no words.... Appalling! That isn't even a strong enough word. I would have to give myself an infraction if I could say what I want to this.

How are things for you Bobbi?

We are fine here. Steady finishing off Christmas gifts.:)
Baking and cooking sweets for Christmas eve.:p
We have a birthday party for Christ at our house, open our gifts to the grands and the kids, take Tomte his porridge so he doesn't reek havoc on our lives for the next year...(wonder if I made bad porridge last year...)
Bella spent 3 days and we made 2 pairs of slippers since the first didn't fit well enough.
The girls have decided they want to help with the Christmas eve finger foods this year so I don't have to make them by myself...
They have decided on their little pizzas and "corn dogs" to go with all the goodies...
Not what I would have chosen but they want to help so...:?:
I will slice up a nice summer sausage and some different cheeses, maybe do little smokies to take up the slack.
The DIL will do Christmas dinner and we will watch them open home gifts then so our Christmas eve birthday party is the easy end of it.

How are you doing? Ready for a merry Christmas yet?

So far I am lucky!
I only got mom's COPD and medicine allergies, the other kids all got her diabetes and heart problems.:)
I got bad health coming from both sides of the family
Lot's of dad's side die young too ... us short, overweight people with heart problems

They just love to help and don't get to at home very often.
When they are here they "help" with everything I do.
Bella was spooling out the yarn to "help" crochet the slippers...
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Yes well, it's hard on young mom's

I didn't let my kids help me nearly as much as I do the girls.
Young parents are just busier I guess.

I know about the short overweight part first hand!
Both parents were short...
mom's side is all slender, dad's...
well they called his mom little Mrs 5 by 5.
5 feet tall and 5 feet around.:(
A hug from her was sheer terror you would suffocate!:)

Both mine were Methodist.
GGPa was a Methodist minister.
Boy were they ...... at me when I became a Baptist!

Yes, and I know it is hard to find enough time.
They have to listen to/help with reading and such then sign that they did!
To their credit, they really do it before they sign.:)
Plus their cooking, cleaning, giving baths....:unsure:
It is nice though to have the girls say, "I like it here because you let us help."
Makes my granny heart happy to know we are making good memories!:)

Just got the last of Hubby's gifts and wrapped and under the tree! I can call it DONE! We did gift cards for everyone this year and those all got sent out last Friday. I am ready. I think we have a couple of things still to be delivered here for Rick's mom. nope... all done. :)

But now we have one more to get. Friends of ours just had something delivered for a Christmas gift. Now to surf the net for something for them

Well, I'm gonna stay here today but will be in and out.
I need to go and get busy. I have a bunch more barbie/ken clothes to sew.
(have to go dig them out of my suitcase where I hid them when Bella came over)
and a craddle purse to finish...also need to decide on a strap for a pink ruffle purse...

I will be back to catch up in a bit with a fresh cup of coffee!
Have a good day!:)

I don't have anything to mail fortunately.
Almost all our gifts this year are home made.
Barbie and Ken were $7 each one day so we got 2 of each for the grand girls.
We found 8 packs of roping gloves for $5 so we got 2 of those for the grand boys (we got 2 new ones this year, a 14 year old and a 15 year old).

I have made
2 kids scarves
1 adult scarf
2 floral adult scarves
3 ear warmers
2 cross bookmarks
8 barbie skirts
3 barbie dresses (all different patterns)
2 barbie capes
3 ken pants
5 barbie blouses (all different patterns)
1 purse (almost done, need to decide on a strap)
working on a purse that turns down and becomes a bassinet...

with 2 pairs of slippers that aren't a gift,
1 angel, 2 stockings, 3 stars for the Christmas tree because the girls thought "we" really should make these...

With the job situation it won't be our normal gifting but the little girls will get lots of little things to make their desire to open gifts happy. The others are all old enough to understand that though the gift was small it was heartfelt so they will be happy too.:)

Well, since we were talking about it, I have typed up my med history as far as I can remember. I put approximate dates for things with (?) next to the date. It is close enough to the year performed.

These more recent ones are easy LOL.

You can ask for a copy of your info from each place, then you will have all of it in detail at a minimum for your own records. best practice is to ask for updates every so often (once a year at checkup/etc). It shouldn't be too big of a deal for them if they are following the HIPPA using modern equipment. If you take a CD/etc, you may even be able to get digital copies versus print-outs... it all depends on the facility and their capabilities.

Kind Note: Please remember how busy these places are though and remember to give them enough time to print out your records... generally don't expect photo-copies of original documents or same-day service.

Best times I have ever had was a dentist who would share everything (via SD Card) while you paid your bill and a hospital with 2 hour turn-around time to burn CD's with complete records including images/video when applicable, non-approved partners (i.e., patients) had to supply their own CDs.

Well the nap was unsuccessful :(

Glad you got a good one!:)
I am tempted to take one too! I have 3 rows of the ruffle around the bassinet done and 5 to go...
time consuming but "makes" the darn thing look just right.
Sure wasn't thinking about the ruffle being 4 times as many stitches per row when I figured how long it would take me.
