Good afternoon all! A nap is always good dale!
Hi Haunted

How goes it? :)

Glad you got a good one!:)
I am tempted to take one too! I have 3 rows of the ruffle around the bassinet done and 5 to go...
time consuming but "makes" the darn thing look just right.
Sure wasn't thinking about the ruffle being 4 times as many stitches per row when I figured how long it would take me.
Read it again Bobbi

Your craft sounds lovely :)

My nap was NOT successful

Ok, now I get it...Oops! I read what I wanted to see...sorry!

I could try to take one for you...I'm fairly sure it would be a great success.
Then again it wouldn't get my bassinet any closer to done...:(
I really expected to have it done by noon. Boy did I miscalculate on that one!

I'm not sure how to tell you exactly...
How about a picture!
The ruffle goes to the bottom so 5 more rows, maybe 6.
As it gets longer, it will drape over the sides better.
Then there is the bonnet to make over one end.
Last of all is 2 drawstrings, one on each end.

Waaaazzzzzzzzzup?! <-- Hope you don't mind "D".

Seriously... I want pictures of the work... and pictures of what you are drinking while doin that work so we can watch the rows grow while the drink drops ;)

Few know this... but I knit... and sew... and I even crochet a little... once in a while. I see nothing wrong about it!... but many of the super-macho are all like "that's lady stuff"... and I'm all like "Yeah, you think you are better, do what they do, buster! ;)

LOL just lemon tea I'm afraid. A tea drinker here, except in the morning then it's coffee. I will post a pic after the "skirt" is finished, then again when I figure out the "bonnet". I am winging it on this one. I saw one on youtube and figured it was doable... I under estimated the amount of yarn and the time it would take. Fortunately, I have a super size skein of the green and the white is plain old white Red Heart from Wally World, time I have lots of so it is all good.:)

There is nothing wrong with men doing needle work. My grandpa got out the sewing machine in the fall and oiled and cleaned it for grandma. After he finished he sewed each of the kids a pair of mittens. Rosey Greer (did I spell that right?) was know for being good at crochet. I think anyone who enjoys and finds relaxing a pattern that they can create or follow should do that. I am re-learning my crocheting now. After Christmas I will see if I can remember any of my knitting. May I feel free to ask foolish questions?
