Good morning Lurkers.
I was pooped after work yesterday, then after dinner and my bath, DH and I watched some things we have recorded.
So, I didn't get on to post.

Lynn, sorry to hear about your sink. :( What a pain in the rear!!

Bobbi, so very happy for you and your DH!! Prayers answered!! HE IS SO GOOD!! I will be praying for you and your DH as you embark on your new adventure!! Glad you'll be close enough to your family/GD's that frequent visits will still be doable!! Most of my family is scattered from one end of the US to the other, so I know first hand how hard it is not to see loved ones, sometimes for years at a time.

I have a dr. appt. with my gen. physician later this a.m. for my 6 month thyroid check, then a trip to the groc store.
It's a gray, rainy morning, good "sleeping in" weather!!

Howdy all. :)
Had a GREAT Dr. appt.!! He even decreased my BP med from 50 mcg, to 25mcg.:banana::banana:
He said he could prob just take me off it completely, and I suggested just halving it, and then we'll see how it goes between now and my next appt. in Dec. But he agreed that my BP is currently too low. It was 117/70 today at the office.
(Technically, it's not too low, because some people just have normally low BP, it's only too low if that's not your normal range)....hope that makes sense.

The lab screwed up and didn't do my Thyroid test with my other ordered tests, so the Dr. called, and they're going to run it with the blood they still have.
How about I didn't know this, but that labs usually keep your blood for a week after it's drawn. I guess if the Dr. orders something else, or wants something run again. Anyway, they still had some, so just have to wait a little longer until I get those results.

Yay!! Glad to hear you're doing so well Lori and that you didn't have to have another blood
draw :)
My blood pressure used to be as low as it could be and still be in the normal range :?: Not anymore

Good afternoon all! Is anyone else thankful for this NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal fiasco? She was born a blonde white woman from a blonde white mother in an all white family from 89.5% white Montana. She has finally been brave enough to say that she "identifies as black." She's "trans-racial" Well thank goodness. I thought I was the only one. Even though I am an white middle aged man from a white family, I've always identified myself as an Asian grandmother from a small village on an island in the pacific rim. We can only hope, more people are brave enough to step forward and not feel trapped in their own naturally born skins! Hopefully, this will open the doors to the "trans species" movement. As soon as more and more brave people come forward I'll be able to share the other part of me - that I also identify as a rastafarian Koala who loves early jazz music.

It's official, our world has gone bat cr@p crazy.
