Waiting for dad to show up and the rock guys this afternoon with the stuff for our driveway

Other than dishes and some laundry I'm still trying to decide what to try to get done today Dale.

Yesterday's appointment went great. I still haven't decided what kind of doctor to choose yet. I'm leaning toward a regular doctor instead of a diabetic one...

Promised my cousins in Colorado City I would go camping with them this weekend so DH will be batching. He doesn't like to camp. Guess I should figure out what kind of food to take and something to wear. Also need to figure a way to keep my insulin below 86 if the weather gets to hot...

Mostly though for the moment I am still gonna sit and enjoy this coffee!

Jim has a nice camper, brand new with all the amenities so it won't be like we camped when we were young. A nice chance to sit and visit, play a few games, that sort of thing. We grew up more like siblings than I did with my brother and oldest sister. Jim was there when nobody else was, he is one of those people I know will always be there for me.

Finally got to have brunch! I took a fresh peach, sliced it and threw it in the blender with some vanilla yogurt, a bit of leftover Lipton Peach Tea from yesterday, a couple of frozen strawberries and bananas, and a splash of milk. Blended it up and BOY, is it GOOD!!!

I so hate to cook if I don't have a kitchen well stocked with good pans! Actually, I am in pain if the kitchen doesn't have all the goodies for making a good meal. When I pack to move, the first thing I pack and unpack is my kitchen! Good luck!

Me too Bobbi! And if I want to cook something and don't have a pan for it, you'd better believe that the next time I go to the kitchen supply store, I will come home with one, maybe 2 of what I needed. I'm the same way with food. If I want to make something that calls for 3 eggs and I only have 2, on my next trip to the grocery store I'll pick up 3 dozen! I hate to run out!
