that's what i use to drip with anyway... you can get them for $1.80 ea (1/2oz bottle with needle cap) from Racers-edge.com... shipping is priority (like notcigs) so you should get a few for different flavors.

Exactly - no need to carry around a syringe. People can just get a Luer Lock cap w/ a syringe tip and scabbard and put that on the bottles they carry around.

the one on the top is exactly like the racers-edge ones... 'cept they have a red cap.
Ya I read where the slotcar guys use these. I don't have a problem filling mine but if I could get that cap to screw on a juice bottle it would eliminate one step. No problems with slipping either as my fusions fit so tight I use a press to put them in. The only problem with filling is it needs to vent air out at the same time. The needle I use is one of those flexible ones and at under 2 minutes to fill with no cleanup or spilled juice is okay for me.

I am using a ce2r4 carto , I always pull all of the silicon out of mine so to fill I just pull off my drip tip and pour it down the throat of the Ce2 and it is fine .
The other option is to fill it like a liquin***** , and move the whole thing up to fill it , or use a syringe OR use a bottle with a small tip from the screw hole

4 ways so far to fill it !

The 6-32 size screw should make it easier to use the screw .

Cat you could replace the thumb screw with a regular 6-32 machine screw , this will be MUCH lower and less likely to snag BUT still keep the whole tank LOCKED in place .

Mike, I would give it a try anyway just because I like you guys. My hope is you would offer it as an option for that 6-32 machine screw thingy. If not...I would take it to a tool place and ask them to switch it out for me. I honestly know nothing about screw sizes and certain tools and little connector thingys people talk about here. What seems like simple terminology for some is a forein language to others. Myself and others don't have and/or don't want "handy hubbies or boyfriends" hanging around to do alot of stuff for us that comes naturally to many of you. It's "hands on-show me" ...and THEN/USUALLY the lightbulb turns on for me. In fact, it always helps me when people here post pics and diagrams. I love that!! It really helps clarify certain subjects that are a topic of discussion.

Through the top?

Edit** I just got a PM asking if I sell this tank and I want to make it clear that I do not. I posted the picture just to give Mike a different idea. I just thought the top port was interesting. I tried very hard to get one of these last year but found it wasn't worth the effort. It was very expensive and never really made it to market. Sorry if I overstepped.

When I discussed this with Mike I wanted a top port. He likes the locking screw idea as a way to differentiate the tank from others on the market. :)
Tend to agree. While a top port has some merits. The locking effect of the current design outshines it for me. As I said before the biggest problem ive had is with sliding in other tanks.
Has anyone tried something like this to punch cartos? General Tools and Instruments
Don't have a tank yet, but for $10 at HD I might pick one up just to play with :)
Might work. Ive punched a few previously. Biggest thing to watch is not to bend the carto. With that being spring loaded it might do it fast enough not to bend it ;) Just dont shoot yourself in the finger :p
