With the mac mini, other than being a smaller tank amd 18350 battery is it the same as the other mac? Also will other battery tubes be made for the mini to use 18490 and 18650?

Sent from my Galaxy Note II

Yup battery tubes will be made for both! The tank is smaller on the mini, not sure of other changes brass contacts maybe? Shorter chamber?

Scooped one of these up, brand new, for $200 in the classies yesterday. All original parts included.

Where can I get a FQ tank for this thing at? Dimensions? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure u can't, since the edges are beveled to fit with the top cap the tanks must be machined, which can only be done to polycarbonate. Mac explained it in one of his YouTube videos.

Love my new mac. Didn't know anything about the switch before it came, but it wasn't hard to figure out. Love how the battery floats above the switch. Genius. Love all the combination choices for wick installation. Going to have to get some 18490s for this guy though. The switch design press the 18650 tube is a little much for me.

I am also loving the macaveli. I love the quality. I got another unnamed hybrid at the same time, the difference in quality and finish is incredible. It took me a while to adjust to the button in 18650 mode because I am a woman with small hands, I am used to it now and love the button. I drilled out my wick hole on one so that I could put a fatter wick in and leave the fill screw in. I wasn't able to leave the fill screw out because of slow wicking until I vaped several tanks. Now it wicks perfectly with the screw in. The top cap worried me for a while because it is just a push on. No need for that worry, it has never come off unless I took it off.
Great job Mac.

OK everyone. So I experimented tonight with my idea and it turned out great. In either scenario the use of the switch has become even easier than before. There are two routes you can take with shortening the throw on the switch. One actually shortens the throw, and the other just simulates a shorter throw. Below you will see all of the stock parts, plus a tiny washer (bottom of picture). The washer is just a bit smaller in outer diameter than the button and almost just as thick as the larger stock washer.

First way to shorten the throw is to install the small washer first after the magnet and before the large washer. This keep the button recessed just as much as it was before, but now the button only travels half the distance to make contact with the battery because you have put the contact on the switch (the screw) closer. This way you can keep the stock recessed distance from the bottom while not having so much strain on your pinky. And, since the throw has been shortened, it makes it a lot easier to use your other fingers. See below.

The second way is to install the small washer after both the magnet and the big washer combined. This makes the button of the switch almost flush with the bottom, but not quite, it is still recessed slightly. The throw on the switch has not been reduced, it travels just as far as it did when it was stock. BUT, it simulates a shorter throw because the switch is closer to the bottom and you don't have to get your pinky up into the MOD as far as your did before. This route also makes it much easier to use your other fingers. See below.

I know this is just a simple, small idea, but I thought I would share in any case. It has made my already great experience with the MAC, even better.

Now, if the stock screw for the switch was just a little bit longer, I could install a small washer on either side of the big washer which would bring the button down AND shorten the throw by half at the same time! Hair trigger vaping!!! So now I'm on the hunt for a wee bit longer screw.

I have 2 kicks but don't use them. I make my coil to suit my needs. 1.2 ohms or so. This let's me have a good vape all the way through the battery life. I found that my kick shortens the life of my battery.

This!

Sometimes I'd rather carry extra batts and regulate. Im glad your getting along without tho, i agree with larger batteries and ~ 1 ohm coil its kind of pointless but with 350's they don't stay in <3.7v range for very long. I really just wanted to know if others are able to fit 350's and a kick because I've been asked for help by some who can't. Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
