I was told to come here and do this. But don't worry, it'll die soon.
The first Quarterback I ever saw was named "Unitas". Crab cakes and Football all the way.
Ravens Fan, defending division champion with a several promising young players.
And the NFL Draft comes Thursday via ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.

Cheer, jeer, talk smack, whatever.... "Are You Ready For Some FOOTBALL !"

Rofl....MawMaw have you trained?
Was a Steeler fan, of course, but I no longer watch the game. So many lives ruined from brain injuries, yet, they keep playing. I hope your thread doesn't die, Papaw.....:)

Mamaw and I have shared 33 years together. We still love to hate one another.
I don't interrupt her Soap Operas, and she leaves my Football alone.
(the kids (grown now) are all football fans, too. Drives Mamaw crazy when we start talking football)

Does that dear woman cook for you on football day and supply snacks and beverages?

That game last year when the Ravens went to Arrowhead was a Classic ! Mahomes is for real, and that 4th down prayer to hill was amazing.
But, as usual, Coach Reid needs a defense ....

He does need a defense. His coaching is B+, he will never get the Chiefs to a Superbowl win.

Lou Malnati's (pie) for the win!!! Pricey, but SO worth it!

My team bites, but the cheerleaders are nice (thanks for the idea, @Rossum ). Before the thought, I had nothin'.

There once was a Marino, and a Csonka, and a Warfield (and-and-and), but so long gone they are. So very, very long gone.

Every time some unenlightened fan uses the term, "GOAT", with any name NOT "Unitas", it makes me shake my head almost in disbelief.

It's not even close (none of 'em).

I'm not sure I agree with this one, especially if a kid named Mahomes sticks around. Good things may well come.

The Dolphins are picking what, 13th in the Draft ? Maybe Drew Lock from Mizzou or Daniel Jones of Duke will be there once Miami is on the clock ....

Yeah. I've learned to not expect much these days. If that changes, great. If not, I'll still enjoy games.

Just other teams' games.

Andy does seem to be adapting to his quarterback this time around. His usual tendency is to under utilize the natural skills of his QB. Last year, I did see more freedom to let the kid play more freely and script the plays recognizing that he has a rare talent to work with. Anyway, I hope you are right.
