Another solution from the Sun Vapers guy was to get a tiny washer and put it inside the tube. My T3 are working great!

What size washer and where did you get it? What's it made of? Pics? That could come in handy.

I'm hoping someone posts a picture of the T3S, Evod and ProTank heads and their base units, side by side, and/or with measurements. fasttech is showing Evods but they are labeled MT3S and replacement heads. I suspect there are more factories than just Kanger making them - and if they follow the path Nova clones took, not all will be compatable in size or similar quality - and hard to tell which ones are Kanger and which aren't.

I'm not buying them to rebuild them at any price.

This is from Eric at discount vapers discountvapers_com-kanger-mt3s-coilcompare.jpg He also said he will carry all the bases as available, not just for the T3S but everything else. never had a problem with DV and prices are great.

Crap. I'm going to be loaded with T3's now. Ordered old base units, new T3S units and the 5 pack with base unit. I was hoping to wind down all the polycarbonate tanks and switch to BPA free tanks. I guess that means I'm in for protanks too and probably the mini when it gets here. So much for the vaping "budget". LOL!

Anyone know of a protank co-op?

Should only be a matter of time befor fasttech has the protank for sale.....they are getting everything else :)

I think the arrows in the image are not in the right place.

If you look closely, just below the wick you will see a flange. The flange on the left is larger than the one on the right. The larger flange would probably prevent that one from going into the T3 all the way.

The flange sits inside the protank base, should not make a difference.

FWIW, I just received my MT3S from discountvapers.
The new mouthpiece design makes a difference. Draw seems much.....more full.
If that makes sense. Definitely better than on a regular T3 or MT3.

How does the clear mouthpiece look? I'm thinking it should make the tank seem shorter.

It doesn't really matter why it won't work. Kanger should have modified the T3S tank, so that it would work with the Evod and Protank coils. I've been using a T3S coil on an Evod and it works good, so when I run out of Evod coils I'm not planning to buy any more. Of course, I have five more new ones, so by the time I run out, the T3S maybe obsolete too.:D

That's exactly what I think... I'll buy a Protank because I want to know what the hype is, but I won't replace until I'm halfway through my heads. And I've got a good 5 T3, 3 eVod and 5 BCC... I think I'm good to go for well over the next two months... Yes, my last shipment with replacement batts, and two Protanks never got home.

I don't have them in front of me at the moment but I believe this is accurate.

I would suggest getting at least ONE entirely new T3S or MT3S so you can see the difference the new mouthpiece makes.
Decide from there if you just wanna keep using the old bodies with the new bases and coils.

I've decided to abandon the old bodies and bases all together, but that's just me. ;)

The old bodies are doing fine for me. I just don't dig how long it takes to get that plastic taste off new tips.

These seem to have a tighter draw. And I drained 2 completely with not a drip. No gurgle at the end and I stored one less that half full standing up to see if it the same issues the old ones had and got nothing. Of course.... it's Kanger. First batches always rock.

This is good to hear. When you or someone else has a chance to let us know whether the EVOD bases will work with the new coil heads, that would be great. Otherwise, it's buying the new coil heads and bases to use with the old T3 tank, correct?

I like the fact that Kanger appears to be moving to glass. I'm waiting for the mini's to come out. But the biggest problem is their drip tips. I want to use my own. It just looks so much better.

But I already have a bunch of the old T3's, some aren't even opened yet and my brain fried with the thought of buying all new ones. I was planning to use those up and get away from polycarbonates completely. I ended up getting 3 of the new T3S for the bases, then Sun-Vapers got their heads in stock + base so I got those too. It's the only clearo I use.

What I find interesting is that all their heads are different, yet they seem to be interchangable.

Right now, Sun-Vapors has the 5pack heads in stock and they are throwing in a new base for T3's. They are the only ones I know of selling just the T3S base for old T3's. Discount Vapers had a notice that they might get solo bases ... someday. I also found old style replacements were clearenced priced in several places.

I just checked the link and that item is still in stock but the T3S base only is out of stock.....

Have you tried the Vapeonly BCC? You can put your driptip of choice. It vapes great, although the clearo is expensive (about 12 dollars). It's the one on my avatar

Discount vapers has the T3S bases as well as the coils and T3S/MT3S in stock at a great price. They also got the protank base in to all that were looking for them. My mailman told me I need a bigger mailbox :D
