Fifteen posts is a lot. I can't think of even 3 questions I'd have to post in a New Members Forum. The items I'd like to post or respond to would mostly fall under very specific areas. Should I respond to those specific topics here?
I feel certain the people I want to see it will not.

Basically, I've done extensive research on ECF, and all the stickies and guides cover everything quite nicely if you take the time to read and research, which I have, diligently, over the past few weeks. For hours. Obsessively.

Although I started vaping a month ago, I've been smoke free for 8 days, and I'm quite surprised how these forums have become almost a haven for me as I read about more elaborate mods, juices, and people like me who've quit smoking when they never imagined it possible.

Anyone have any ideas on what to post so I can get this part over with as painlessly as possible and move onto the areas that really pertain to me such as reviews, mod ideas, etc?

No offense, but I feel like I'm the new kid in school, and we have to go around the room sharing our names and brief life history to get to know one another.
Fifteen times.

I feel like there should be a "grandfather clause" though since I joined in March, and this did not go into effect until April 1, 2010. Okay, I kid.

Also, I feel remiss in that I did not actually put my post to song. I apologize. In the future, I may write a song for forum newbies everywhere.

Thanks you guys, you made this as painless as possible. Especially Rosa. Simple honesty and perfect sense.

I've never joined or read any type of forums before in all my 25 years
(-lies about her age-), but I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed ECF.

I feel I may get addicted. Better this though than cigarettes! :)

Hi ArdentHope, thanks for your random interest. Here is a copy/paste job of something I just posted somewhere else in New Member Country that will answer your question! :)

Hi!

My name is wisp, and I too, am a vapor! I have the 510, tornado, a Kr808d battery just to mix things up. I have a cart mod on order from Scottyballs, and Im super duper excited for it to come in the mail!

I have made a template to do it myself, but he has been doing it way longer and is, I'm sure, much more mechanically inclined than I! I have made the slug, the BFD, and Kristin's "PTB Straw Mod: PTB made easy!" I had fun doing them all, with some successes here and there.

My favorite flavors so far are Caramel Popcorn(Tasty Vapor) and Taboo (Liquid Express). Those are the ones that made me never want a cig again. Except when I have a few beers, then I struggle a bit.

But I digress! Welcome to us to the forums!

They sell carts too.. 15.00 for 10 carts... the nic ones come only in reg and mint... they have several flavors for the none nic.. I see alot of post regarding the 510 and how good it is. So that is why I decided to get it. I love mine no problems yet. But as far as the mini goes I really like the xhale02 has a really good hit the store is local so I dont have to mess with shipping and they told me if I have any problems with it I can exchange it for a new one... up to one year..

Lawd I'm on this forum so much I'm starting to feel like a forum STALKER! It really does have to do with support thing though... not smoking is HARD and everybody here is going through it in one form or another so it's nice to just be somewhere that everybody is going through the same thing you are. I have definitely replaced smoking with reading and constantly refreshing this forum.

I'm sure I have 80 things to say too, more if you don't stop me, but not in this area was my point. ;)

Anyway, I actually -did- think of a question while refilling my carto a moment ago. Anyone know what a thermometer shake is? All I use are digital and my short term memory impairment is not letting me recall how. Talk about embarrassing!

Someone posted in another area that they preferred that to the Taryn spin.
Do I hold both ends of the carto and shake it? Or do you hold the atomizer end?
Or the Mouth piece end. I know, I know. I'm really detail oriented. ><
