Frustrating build last night. This was going to be a dual coil, but the leads on the 2nd coil got cut by the screws on the mutation xs. Then I was going to parallel it with something else and the screws cut that wire too (hence the spacing). Just about threw the rda in the trash.

4 loop vertebraid of 36g N80. Wrapped with a 3/32 ID and measures 1.2 ohms. Hot little bugger ramps up crazy fast.

Do it up! Today I bring some uninstalled yet coil pron.
26g frames, 6ply .5x.1mm, 32g/.2x.2mm sq interlockings

It ain't easy to get this sq interlock consistent, I had enough for one coil & the rest was all wonky. So I made enough for another coil & no more since 2x2 square is dumb expensive on KP.

Isn't it? I was thinking of trying the .9x.3 just to see what it can do. Freakin' ribbon on steroids! And maybe the .4x.4 or .5x.5. So many choices... So little $$$...

I want that 9x3, but for $57/100'....hell no. I can justify some of the 30' rolls of 3x3 & 4x4 but not the 100' rolls. the price jump from the 2x2 at $13.50 to 3x3 at like $27 is just stupid expensive. And their ribbon pricing too...up a few bucks for each .1mm, I want some of their .6x.1mm but it's like $17.50 a spool. I can get 250ft of .5x.1mm for $22.50 elsewhere.

I haven't tried their ribbon (yet). I like the stuff from Coil Society - it never needs straightening. Comes off the spool flat as an eight year old.

My .5 has some kinks in it but it's perfectly usable. The ribbon I've gotten from KP (.3) is perfectly flat in every aspect & on a large spool (preference). LV is a PITA with their .4, some spools come flat, but others come with a twist.

I won't use LV ribbon anymore after using the CS. I'll use KP for my next order, to try theirs out.

Hey Vaporheads !!! I'm back & ready to build & vape... I have some new toys, like the Griffin, the smok TFV-RTA G4 edition & I'm thinking about getting the Goon RDA clone to see if the authentic is worth the money.... I'm really trying to find & get my hands on a good RTA that has top fill & holds at least 5mls or more of e liquid. Anybody have some ideas ?? I also find myself really enjoying "SERIES" mods & I've been looking at the OHMEGA 26650 mod, but I think I'd prefer a box mod, but they're all kinda expensive. I'm still on the fence about it, but WTH.... Who knows what I might buy b4 the month is out... All I could do was dry burn, clean & re-wick coils last month being stuck in the bed. That will not be happen'in again for the month of April... I realized building coils every 2 days, calms me & I become very irritated when my atties taste janky or I go over a week without building. I still can't believe I went a whole month without making a new coil...smh...Never No More... Longest in 6yrs, 6months to the day...

I've been poked, prodded & stuck with enough needles this past month, by more different doctors than I've seen in my entire life ... And guess what's wrong with me ??? I survived an Aortic Di-sectional Aneurysm...(lol) No ones been able to tell me anything that I don't already know. My left side has been noticeably swollen since the beginning of March & I finally managed to get the swelling to go down last week, enough so I could walk at least.... Only for it to swell up again yesterday & it looks like I'm gonna be stuck in bed again, for God knows how long this time....smh Its not a blood clot, or the gout, I haven't fallen or hit my leg on anything. I suffer with severe nerve damage from the waist down, so everything actually hurts... Which makes it even harder to diagnose...sigh... My b'day already sucked & it looks like this month is gonna suck too... But I got myself a nice bedside desk to build on & I'm still gonna Build like a BOSS !! I'mma Drill, Wick, & juice like a BOSS & Come Hell or High Water....
I'm gonna Mo'fo Vape Like a BOSS !! I plan on building coils all month, whether I'm stuck in bed or not. I just hope 1 of these doctors figure out what's wrong, so we can find a solution & I can get right before my grandson is born. No idea what to call this thing. Parallel 28g N80 with a 36g N80 2 loop vertebraid claptoning the spaced inner 3-4 loops. Parallels on the sides are a bit janky, the claptoning isn't consistent, and it got a little coloring when I was trying to clean the parallel sections up so I decided to just fully color before taking pics. 2mm ID and measures 1.0 ohms.

Today's build was simple & sweet, bcuz I finally remembered to take pics b4 I wicked it ...lol
I did rebuild my Smok G4 TFV-RTA today & I can't lie, it took me 45 minutes to get it right, but the pain in my .... wasn't the coils, it was wicking the bugger so it wouldn't leak like a cheap diaper... I forgot to take pics & I promise you, I won't be wicking it again unless absolutely necessary At any rate I decided to try something simple afterwards, like this dual coil, Twisted, four strands of 28g Kanthal, mounted on my Mini Velocity RDA clone. I know its easy, but this is my first time ever trying it. I might try another braided coil 2morrow. Happy Vapes All Around

So, I decided to put a new build in the Nobunaga. Decided on a lightly hammered staged alien.
3x28K/38N, staged with 24g SS316L for a decent ramp up. It's going on a parallel mech.
3.0mm ID, 4/5 wraps, 0.12Ω

There's a few screw ups, but it's not for a customer so I don't care. Vapor production is great, flavor is okay. The Nobunaga leans a little heavier on clouds than flavor. This build would have better flavor in an atty with a smaller chamber. Maybe even the Griffin would have been a better choice.

25g n80 core claptoned with 30g n80 and 32g n80. 5 wraps with an ID of 2.5mm. Came out to .35 ohms. Vapes real nice, just a bit hotter than what I'm used to.
