That is a very illogical topic post Mr. Cancer?? Why would I have a pocket protector in my pants sir??

A pocket protector is a sheath designed to hold writing instruments and other small implements, such as slide rules, while preventing them from damaging the wearer's shirt pocket (e.g., by tearing or staining by a leaky pen). The pocket protector is designed to fit neatly inside the breast pocket of a man's shirt, and may accommodate pens, pencils, screwdrivers, small slide rules, and various other small items. A flap overlapping the pocket exterior helps to secure the pocket protector in place.

The pocket protector was invented by Gerson Strassberg around 1952. Strassberg was working on plastic sleeves for bankbooks. One day he placed one that he was working on into his shirt pocket while he took a phone call. When he noticed it there, he realized it would make a great product.[1] Originally fashioned from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), pocket protectors were first marketed toward corporations as branded promotional fare. However, a more general market for the product soon arose, comprising students, engineers (prominently mechanical), and white-collar workers in sundry fields. Demand for the product fluctuated for decades, and finally plummeted during the 1980s in the face of growing social stigma and stereotypes (that of their wearers being nerds). The use also declined because pens had advanced to a point where they rarely leaked at all.

The pocket protector is used in a shirt pocket not a pants pocket.

i am afraid, veeeery afraid 8-o

Taccos anyone ? :pop:

This is also illogical what is there to fear of a person finally realizing that their lifestyle is no longer needed or wanted. One must eventually grow up and become accountable for their actions. To do this you must be willing to grow. I have came to the realization that my actions on this forum have been counterproductive. To the means of a better forum I have decided to change my ways. To grow up and cast away my ill natures for a more socially acceptable way of behaving.

should we all get formal avatars then?

A polar bear lounging back on a rock IS acceptable if that is what you Mr. Pete. It is upon each individual to make up his and or her mind what they wish to get out this forum. If you want it to be a professional appearing forum then you will comply. If you would rather "lounge" then that is your decision. I for one have decided it is time to become more professional for the well being of the forum.

I am sorry Mr. Pete but this is a decision I feel very strongly about. How is our little forum to survive if all we have is fighting and bickering between ourselves. There is all ready splinter groups going off starting new forums and leaving this one behind. If we are to grow then we need to grow with the forum. That which does not defeat us shall make us stronger.
