My tank syncing with my mod and smartphone and telling me the average amount of juice I'm using in a week and sending me email reminders to order juice and coils. ;)
I'd be into this. Totally.
Itsy bitsy long lasting batteries would be awesome too. I see the former happening before the latter though. I mean how long have AA batteries been a thing? For some reason that field seems to slow to the punch.
As for the vapocolypse...when my 60ml of nic runs out, I'll be ordering 6L. And I'll be buying up some devices with separate batteries. Add in a mech a piece for when all the chips die in the regulateds and I think we'll be good for life.

As I see it, regulated (taxed of worse) will be juices+nic and (may be) equipment.
    I am ready.

The FDA has waited so long now that my opinion is that they're waiting for us to take a really good shot at our own foot so that they can say "we told you so". Then they will land on us with both feet.

I think they are testing all the liquids available in the US. They will come back with DA/AP and nicotine % being incorrect from what the bottles say...

    ............
Yea, like they are going to spend all that money out of pocket. More like spending Months and Months with lawyers researching Their regulatory proposals so they don't fall flat on their faces again.

    Excuse for proposals:
In response to Concerns and Regulations passed by many States regarding the Dangers of e-cigarettes...........Bla, Bla, bla

Let us loose control at the State level then close the door Nationwide.

The FDA doesn't have any problem allocating money to buy e-liquids and have them tested...

What do you guys thing the next "big step" in vaping will be? Or have we already reached the pinnacle of vaping?

Currently the newest step in vaping is temp control, but we've all been down the evolutionary road in vaping:
Bought a pen, then got an ego twist, then got the itaste vv, then heard about higher wattage devices, then got a regulated box and rda. then sub ohm tanks came out. now you thought it was great, but then temp control came out. Whats the next phase?

I'm not sure how long you have been vaping for....but we have definitely NOT reached the pinnacle of vaping, and we won't for years.

Every 6 months or so , sometimes less, there is a HUGE breakthrough that changes the way we vape, and makes things much better. You'll know we are close to the "pinnacle" when you haven't seen anything groundbreaking for a year.

Some of the breakthroughs I've seen:

    micro coils
    sub ohming
    variable voltage
    variable wattage
    dual coils
20watts, then increasing wattage from there
    sub ohm tanks

Also, certain designs became standards more or less.

    510 connections
    pro tank design
    kayfun design

Trust me, vaping is STILL in its infancy, and we have a LONG way to go before we reach even the peak of max clouds/max flavor

    Humm.....
    • Get rid of the 510 - I'm thinking 'insert, twist and lock', more than 2 wires for smarts on the tank
    • Are coils really the future? I'm thinking pump+sprayer with ether ceramic or stainless mesh doing the vaporizing. (there's GOT to be a better way to vaporize then DC coils!)
    • Swappable battery packs (ala cordless drill)
    • Juice vending machines - pick your: ratio+flavor+nic and get a bottle on the spot (remember you read it here 1st folks)
    • (wish list) a population (and government) that has 'a clue' which does not regulate+tax vaping to death
Just some ideas off the top of my head.

I think the next big step will be a small device that has little cords that connect to sticky pad on the skin. It pumps ejuice right into our veins. It will be called "skinning"

Well the swappable battery idea is in force with the Disrupter.

I thinks the whole Disruptor concept is dumb. I'm sure this has already been talked about but why buy a battery that only fits one mod? What if they change the design, now you have to get batteries that fit the v2. Not practical IMO

    1:
already done; i'm vaping on a 3d on a nemeis; the other examples I know of are the elm rda on the tree of life mod and the gp heron on the gp paps or any m20x1 mod; the issue is standardization of mod thread. the nemesis is odd: m20x0.5 the gp paps is m20x1; I dunno what the tree of life is; a lot of my mods are m21x1; I have a stingray clone which is close to m20x0.5 but not quite; I have mods which are m22x1 or something like that and not close enough to be compatible.
Its an issue of standardization; when the 510 interface became a stardard, that was a big step; before that there was for example kr808 types and I think there were a few flavors or that; there are even things with 510 thread but the male/female relationship is reversed.
Halo still uses some odd threading.

    2:
how about ac coils! as far as i'm concerned, that's already being done: PWM.

    3:
    done: 18650 batteries
