DrMa - your slots look the same as mine. If the cotton wisps still leak, just put a tiny bit more cotton around the gaps. Seems like with the cotton there is a fine line between creating a working air permeable dam and a juice locked seal.

Great minds think alike :D. I added a bit more cotton and indeed got all the way over to a perfect seal. Now the Fogger is airtight and vacuum sealed :face. This is obviously not an easily-repeatable solution for me... I'm gonna start experimenting with cutting channels into the wick.

My builds are perfect. I wrap my coils very tight on ceramics. I have NO problems with my builds at the 2ohms. They are great. Its just me wanting to try the sub ohm set ups that a lot of people are raving about. I think this issue might be with my 100% PG liquid. I find that most people using sub ohms are using either 100% VG or a mixture of both PG and VG. Just my thoughts.
maybe its your builds themselves, and not the materials you are using...

Pictures help greatly!

So I was bragging up our AO wicks to the Taifun GT ceramic kit guy from you tube....You guessed it, now I'm sending him a couple wicks to go up against the fc2000 wicks :D

Now I'm hoping for some reciprocity to beta test his Taifun GT ceramic kit....but I have a small problem if that does happen....no Taifun GT

They should be available soon. But if anyone knows where I can snag one, please PM me.

well i'm sorry if you get offended by it, but user error seems to be the cause.
a picture would help disprove that....

telling people it's perfect, wont let us help you troubleshoot why its not working out...
If it was perfect you wouldn't have any problems... lol

PG/VG blends, have NEVER made a difference in my coils aside from very slight flavour loss & differences in vapour production.

DrMA & gdeal -
Where are you setting your afcr (aif flow control ring)?
What if any mods have you done to change air flow from stock?
What is your coil wire and ohm, and device/v/w
*Edit - Also the juice your running (me 50/50)

Mine is significantly modded from stock so I have found that I need to keep my afcr closer to closed, but there again my afcr is also modded :D

I'm running 28g wire at ~1ohm.....and the weird thing is I'm getting a really nice vape around 12-12.5 watts (~3.6v) on a DNA mod. (When its wet of course)

DrMA - On dry hits how long does it take to go from wet to dry? And if you let it set, does it eventually get wet again?

I get about 3 or 4 drags and then it dries out.....and I haven't waited to see if it recovers on its own :D

Airflow unmodded, all the way open. 28g. @.8ohms on a mech with 20/80% PG/VG

No dry outs, but I did redo my second setup tonight. It felt like it wasnt as wet as the first one. I noticed that air bubbles were only coming out of one side. So on the non-air bubble side, I pull some of the cotton fibers away from and out of the gap. This put me back in action. Bubbles on both sides.

So iirc the a stock fogger center tube is the most restrictive at 1.5mm ID.

The reason for asking is I have been talking to the ceramic TGT guy, and he says they tailored that setup with a 1.2mm air hole for the ceramic wick and 50/50 juice. I asked if he tried the grooved fc2000 wicks, he said he did but that it leaked quite bad.

So I was just wondering where you and DrMA were at with all the parameters.
