when you say the fogger is slotted out for the larger insulator.......do you mean the fogger you modded or the stock fogger will take the aga isolators, i have like a dozen of those isolators. still keeping my eye out for a fogger , but nobody has them. and unlike bap The taifuns a little more than I'm willing to shell out for.

I was referring to slots that have been opened up. Mine is opened up to do a 4mm hollow ceramic wick. If you want to use a more standard solid 3mm wick, the slots will still need to be opened up, just not as much. I dont believe the stock fogger will take the AGA insulators.

For reference, the AGA insulator is 4.25mm in diameter at the tube and 5.25 at the rim. With the 3mm ceramic inside the insulator, it stretches to 4.75mm at the tube, which can then be compressed to 3.75mm. So it will require the slot to be opened up to at least 3.75mm.

have you seen that little aga-t3 genny...kinda interesting...also intigued by the pulse g still.
i have enough genisis tanks.... some just sit here and collect dust...

I've gotten to the point where once i find a flaw in the hardware, i just dont like it any more.
i keep reverting back to my dripper.

I'm getting to the point where i'm looking for a local machine shop to have my own tank milled out.

first world problems i guess...

I know it's a bit OT, but I know you guys would appreciate this in the spirit of DIY.

Only 41 flavors??? I have well over 100, with the "same" flavors from multiple vendors (yes, many are significantly different). :D

I'm now in the process of experimenting with different vendors of VG, and surprisingly discovering that while vaping the pure VG itself has subtle variations of flavor from one supplier to another, the same recipe made with different VGs can have completely different results!

I always wondered why every juice from Virgin Vapers had a unique flavor (that I don't particularly care for)....it's their VG. I also think that it may be the missing component that makes Boba's Bounty so hard to duplicate. Everyone focuses on the flavoring components, not the base. If you try other Alien Visions offerings (other than the PG-based juices), they all have that unique background flavor....I'll bet it's their VG base....

The search is never-ending ....

My first impressions of the new AGA-T3

The new aga-t3 is advertised as designed for CERAMIC as well as mesh wicks, it has I believe a 3.5 wick hole, which makes it ideal for say a thicker white wick, but I used a fc-2000 for this first build, also I used 29 gauge. that clocked out at about 1.8 it seemed to me the post was high so I probablly wrapped it more than I needed to.

I cut my RBA teeth on the AGA-T2....it was forgiving as I clumsily stuffed it with wads of toasted ss mesh, and filled it's tank with burnt juice.it was a tolerant and supportive friend when I proposed the ridiculous idea of sliding crudely made aquarium air stones down it's throat and mucking it's tank with dusty residue. It celebrated with me when Boden was generous enough to let me, along with a few others test the BD 13 on it.
When the rsst came out, I gave it a shot, but was sadly dissapointed with it and soon returned to my solid little t2.While surfing vaping sites I came across a reduced top cap for the T2,from captivape, and snatched it up. My T2 really appreciated it and the vape got even better. At the start the only other genny really worth having was the Zatty, and I wasn't going to shell out for one until I could master ceramics,so me and T2 continued our journey.

In short the T2 was my benchmark for a genny, every other genny was held up to it, and compared to it.The other youde offerings were somewhat lame compared to the t2, and I felt that youde was just not really improving the T2, but just rearranging the furniture.....until the T3, now a grain of salt here, this is a first impression.

Out of the chute the T3 was smooooth, which was a surprise usually on a new build the flavor is real good but there's a few raw bumps till break in, but the T3 was smooth from the start. also I hate to admit it, but with the drasticlly reduced top cap the flavour is better than the T2.I am using the stock air hole for now and though the hole appears to be big, the draw is not really airy. I was at first worried about the fact that since the wick was in the middle of the atty it would be far away from the airhole, and that I would get a hard throat hit and less vapor and flavor.wrong for whatever reason this little thing is a cloud machine, and the throat hit is mild.
The only draw backs are. first if you're used to genny builds it will take alittle time to dance around this deck till you get it nailed, but really how often do you rebuild with ceramic wicks. The tank is small, but that is good and bad.like the aga-td which has a small tank it takes a short wick and for some reason which the more technically savvy folk can explain short wicks....wick faster, after a certain length wicking slows way down, so this t3 wicks really well, maybe too well I don't know if it's due to wicking, like i said it's a littlecloud machine compared to the t2, or because it's a small tank, but you will be topping this thing of often.

I was lucky i snatched my t3 up at cov for 30.00 not the 50.00 like everywhere else.I thought what the heck it's a cheap ride if it doesn't work out....so all in all it's a great experince except for one thing...........I have to break the news gently to my T2.

Wow! I guess I'm not so discerning... I buy USP VG and call it good and tweak whatever flavor to my liking. I guess I barely have time to DIY my juice alongside the other DIY projects like wicks and mods :face

How'd you get it for $30? Just went to get it and it's listed for $49.50! Was it a sale or coupon code? ;)

Nope, it was one of my specialties...plain dumb luck. I was sort of watching for it's release and I noticed cov was stocking them too so I poped over and it was only 29.99 which was a surprise since everybody else like stormys was selling them for 49.99 so I snatched it up. a day later cov started selling them for 49.99 too.......update this thing misses being a dripper by just a hair...in the sense that the tank is very small, and once the juice gets below the feed holes in the tank it needs to be refilled.....refilling is no breeze, the fill hole is much smaller than say a aga-t2 or a rsst, and so there is not, enough room for a needle, and air to escape as the same rate as liquid is put in, so you have to nurse it.....I'm contemplating drilling out and tapping a new hole and putting like an allen bolt in it, or maybe drilling a 1mm hole in the deck for air to escape when filling. but you do wind up refilling often.....I just watched a review at todds reviews of it, and as he says it's an outstanding vape, but not an all day vape ,because you'd have to carry a bottle of juice with you....he's not kidding. I have a feeling youde is going to be tweaking this design, because the initial design is very good, but I think there is room for improvment.

You've got great luck! As for the tweaking... Maybe a tank extension later on? Who knows... :what: I saw Todd's review, too. Thats what got me searching! Happy vapin' :D

Sad day today:(. I just lost my last piece of BD13. This has been installed in my go-to home setup (genny) since June. Same wick, same coil for almost 6 months, dry burned weekly. Part of the wick itself broke once a few months ago, but enough was left so I could reuse it pushed up a bit. Today was the final break though. I've been getting dry hits on this genny that had been flawless for months, so I decided to open it up and take a look. Did a dry burn, as always, and then I was putting it back together when I noticed the wick a bit crooked. When I touched it, the bottom piece fell off broken right on top of the deck. I'm assuming the dry hits were caused by the wick being broken before I opened it up.

On the bright side, I replaced the wick with a DIY piece of white AO (Bon) and it's back to vaping awesomeness. Same coil:thumbs:

So this got me thinking. What's up with Boden, any news?

Bapgood, that looks great. But how does it vape? Can you give us some more details of the build?

Until then, I'm with gdeal. Filed the Fogger under "had potential, but didn't quite make the cut". Just like the ceramic Vivi Novas :)

Yeah.....but it will have to wait until it's finished :D

I still need to drill the holes for the coil connection posts and few other things in the bottom. Plus I think I'm going to lower the deck of the internal chamber so I can match some of the dimensions of the Taifun that vapes so dang good.
