I still need to drill the holes for the coil connection posts and few other things in the bottom. Plus I think I'm going to lower the deck of the internal chamber so I can match some of the dimensions of the Taifun that vapes so dang good.

To get the hollow ceramic into the fogger, I needed to bring the slots down to the atty base. This only gave about 1mm distance from the atty base to coil. (The airflow opening is even with the base).

While the airflow goes over the coil nicely, the airflow dymamics dont play well inside the atty chamber. (Dont get me wrong it vaped ok, just not as good as the other solid ceramic set-up I first did. BTW, that set up is still going strong.) That and the extent of extra effort to get it set up, doesnt justify it to be on the first line of go-to atties.

As a side note, the taifun has an airflow tube that sticks out of the base. While you can put your coil about 1 mm away from the airhole, I'm guessing the space underneath coil is looking to be a critical feature.

The TGT vapes just awesome....noticeably better than the Russian, but I'm not sure why. The best thing about the TGT is that I haven't been able to get it to leak, and I have tried and tried.


The tutorial is going to start like this.

Step 1 - Purchase a lathe
Step 2 - Purchase stainless steel round stock


For the ceramic fogger I made a new main atomizer housing, along with a new tank top and top cap.

I wandered about that myself. I'm guessing he used a hole saw for the basic shape.

I think there have been 2 places folks have been looking, but the tile setter stones might be out of stock...at least lately that's what has been reported on the thread. Check this post for links.
