1.4 with stock intake was super hot for me...
Quick question: Are you making sure to align the intake directly to the side of the coil and maintaining an air space under it?

Ok, could use some input...I have a Reo LP Mini with R2 and consistently able to build 1.8 ohm coils and while flavor is ok, not sure how to tweak to et more. When I built coil around 1.3-1.4, it was just too hot (so dunno how you folks who use lower ohms manage it LOL). I have tried shifting the coil position lower and higher and not noticing much difference.

I use Gallery Tips 1.5" big bore drip tips on mine at .6 and .7 and that keeps the vape nice and cool while getting more flavor. I tried putting one of my other tips on and the vape was way too hot for me. Yes the tips are big but they sure do a nice job. I also enlarged the air holes, I used a bead reamer so I have no idea the exact size.
So quick question! Does the REO mini 2 use the same RBA that the LP grand uses?
No it uses the standard RM2. Which I happen to have a spare of btw...
Not familiar with these...I think my concern is the draw getting too airy as I am not a lung hitter and I like the draw to have some resistance, if that makes sense. The 1.4 coil I did last night is somehow giving less flavor than the 1.7 from day before. lol
Do you coil and wick them the exact same way as the one you use for a LP? I'm clueless when I look at stuff on the classies! Most of you have the LP REO.
Both versions of the RM2 (LP or regular) have the same post and deck set up so yes.
Looks like a Reactor with drilled out air holes.
What dt? Looks like delrin spacer with ss tip.
