Ladies, Here is the "Official"(and Final).Entry thread to The Miss ECF 2009 Pageant! This is where you will be given an oppertunity to participate in our first Illustrious Pageant of Beautiy,Charm,Wits and Grace.As it had been pointed out by several members in my last attempt to run this pageant,I fell short in several key areas,this 'New Entry" thread should end some of the dismay!
First off I will keep Entry open for one week...giving all our ladies a chance to respond and be a part if they do wish.Second,(when we have all of our interested participants)this thread will lead into the next thread which will be The "Official" Miss ECF 2009 Pageant"....actually the "pageant" part will be over,and the voting will start(just like the previous attempt I made),but all of the ladies will have been given a chance to "Strut their Stuff" here on the Entry thread...so everyone will ,hopfully by then, Know who they are voting for....everyone with me so far?...Good!
I will now list the rules of entry(which I'm sure will be broken again and again):
1.This is "Not" a beauty pageant......this is a pageant for the Ladies of the ECF to introduce themselves to everyone out there..and Our ladies go way beyond a pretty face(even though your all pretty to me),this Pageant will require charm and wit also!
2. No photos are required to take part( But from the previous thread posting pictures of yourselves will increase your odds of winning substantially).So post them if you have them ladies!
3.This entry is the time for posting,ranting,and flaunting....this is where you will let the masses know that YOU should be Miss ECF!..Remember the poll(s) will open just as soon as the entry process is over( although you can still flaunt and rave on the Pageant thread also)
4. Please ladies this is for fun....No Fighting(right)!
5. Gentlemen: Let's remain gentlemen.....no rudeness to the ladies..no asking for "Nude" photos...there are other sites for you pay a visit to for that...lets be well behaived here OK?( in the event of any of the above I will be forced to send my two "friends" Walrus and Figurehead to pay you a visit
).
6.Towards the bottom of this thread(as in the style of the Miss America pageant) I will ask all participants to answer one question and a response is required( usually each finalist is asked a different question..in my case that would be hard to do here..so the same for all ladies).
7. I have been( and am currently)tring to bring in "Corporate-Sponsors" to provide "Prizes" to award to the Winner and Runner's-up......As of this moment I have not heard word back...but I will pursue this feveriously until I get a response.I can make no promises..but it seems only fitting that our "New Queen" for 2009 carry with her more than just the Title alone..I will post more details as I have them.( Attention:Suppliers....Please PM me if you would like to Contribute to this Enchanting Event..I will make you Famous)
I hope I have covered All the concerns that were brought to my attention with my first attempt to run this pageant..remember this IS the first one..and with it will be snags..which can be worked out in the years to come for future pageants! To all the ladies that had entered in the previous thread YOU will automaticly be re-entered into this NEW pageant and will post a direct link to THIS thread on the old one so all can see and read what has already transpired( You might want to consider posting your photos on this thread also).
Last thing: In the event we have even greater participation than in the last attempt at this....I may have to go to 2 "Pageant" threads(possibly 3),reason being that I may only post up to 15 ladies per vote/poll( That's all it lets me do).In that event I will split our contestants into as many poll's as we need to have.You might actually see a poll for region one,two...ect.In the event of more than one poll(lets say we have three poll threads where everyone can vote once).I will then have to by choice either crown our queen based on vote totals or have a seperate face-off poll/thread for the individual winners of the other polls/threads.......Confused yet(I am)...you'll get it when/if it gets to that point! Any type of "Tiebreaker" will be decided upon by MY 4 year old Daughter who is activley helping in this competition( Hope that will make everyone happy). I will direct any further questions YOU might have for me to be posted here on this thread...as I will be lurking..and glad to answer them as the arise.
ladies here is your "Entry" question for all of you as decided upon by myself(and the help of my Kids): If You were able to go back in time...Where would you go? And what would you do?( for instance:Change an historical event...or possibly change an event in your own life!)My daughter said she would become Cinderella!
