We ended up getting 4 inches of rain Wednesday through Sunday. Should put a little dent in the drought situation. We went to the beach on Saturday:

Had docta appt today at 9:30 Am got outta dere at 12:45 How we managed to get a student nurse practitioner I'll neber know. She's actually an RN for the neo natal unit intensive care at a hospital but she's studying to go fer nurse practitioner. She had to go thru the whole visit, give a report to my doctor, then my doctor came in and went over eberythangs AGAIN Needless to say I am not a happy camper rite nows A quick med check and script refills does NOT take 3 freakin hours !!!

I mean I'm all for helping some one learn etc. I'd even volunteer for it. BUT dey should habe TOLD me first so I was prepared to let my .... go numb after 3 hours of sittin there. The rest of the morning plans were shot to da hebens cuz the morning was ober by the time I got outta dere.

So sorry I didn't get to make you a card... it's been a rough 24.

That sum a beetch Murphy came to visit around here.
Saturday it was 82° so I worked around the yard, washed the car, etc. T'was a beautiful day!

Then yesterday this devil of a storm moves in with thunder storms, then more thunder sleet and SNOW! This is E. Texas for gawd's sake. Anyway, we had 3 inches of sleet/slush which froze into solid glaciers when the temps dropped 60° in just a few hours.

Power in and out.... satellite the same, but the worst of all, I forgot to unhook the garden hose and replace the insulated cone back over it. My house water is now frozen up somewhere and after calls to 4 plumbers, I'm on the wait list. Wind chills down in the minus's and will not get above freezing today so NO thaw will be happening. Living on bottles water and aren't peoples like fish... so stinky after 3 day's ya gotta bury them? I may not have water til the end of the week.... P.U., Iz gonna be ripe by then!

Monkey Mamma they treating you poorly again and taking up all your time. Not fair....next time get some revenge and make up the craziest sounding medical term you can think of and use it three or four times so they have to look it up LOL We will teach them HUGS (((((beast)))) (((((Ole Man)))))

The boss called me in early...I started last Tuesday. It's going okay so far, but there are only a few of us now. Everyone else shows up on Thursday

Ok so yesterday was Dan's moving day and it was really special.........It was even more special because my father's legacy lived on. We are gathered around the table he built with his own hands and Dan is in the middle of refinishing. The entire time I was cutting up stuff to feed them with I could not get over the fact that my father was there.....it was heart warming

I went off on picky food and I am glad I did cause they were hungry. I thought I would never finish cutting. I cut Kiwi, Asian Pear, Mango, Avacado, Huge Grapes, Two types of cheese, some hard sausage, Strawberries some hummus and two kinds of crackers and smoked salmon. YUMMY it was good!
