CJ, when you get that big water bill, take it and the plumber's receipt to the municipal services or water company or whatever. At least around here, they will adjust your bill down to your monthly average amount if you can prove you had a leak, and not that you were filling your swimming pool or watering your back 40.

Your wish is my command, my O&O. ♥ Just called them and they say when I receive my bill I can file a request with the water board. Ugh, it's a rural co-op, so we'll see if members really have a vote.
