Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Thanks! DoogieTony did it for me! He rocks!
Check out the Jam Band thread if you dig the Boys...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/lounge/623249-jam-band-fans-unite-6.html

Back on topic, maybe your run was bad on the metal. I just saw you have the black version. Could be there was some over spray. Try the boiling suggested maybe?

Will definitely check the thread out.

Yeah the more I think about it the more I think I might just contact the vendor and ask for an exchange or refund. I hate dealing with these sorts of headaches. Brings back memories of the aspire/kanger tank days. And cartos.....I had a love/hate relationship with those things.

Those are the new ones right? I guess I'd better learn the basic first before I move into something else.

They are new, yes, but the one I built isn't exactly the same. Basically, instead of threading your wick through the coil and installing horizontally, you will wrap the coil with the wicking material and flip it vertically.

DON'T use vinegar on the Lemo! You will discolor it and promote rust!

Take it completely apart (screws and all). Throw that stock coil away, it isn't Kanthal. Soak it in very hot water with dish soap. Take your Q-tip and/or pipe cleaner and clean out all the nooks and crannies. Rinse very well. Throw it in the ultrasonic with clean water for several minutes. Change out the water and do it again. Dry it thoroughly (you can use a hair dryer to speed it up). Put in a new coil and new wick. Up to you, but I would throw the cotton balls that came with it away. You don't know where they have been, if they are sterile, or what pesticides were used.

This is how I have cleaned all 4 of my Lemo's and I never get a metallic taste.

Believe it or not....I can actually visualize that! Lol

Thanks Pen. Something with my build is causing the whistle I guess, but I've read it's not uncommon. Will do some experimenting to me if I can fix it. It's not the end of the world either way. Also a good reminder there to try the readyXwick on the GT. I've heard good things from lots of folks. And hey - anything that makes re-wicking easier is a good thing in my book.

Yeah I'm not about to go near the "mystery" cotton. First thing I did was tear out the coil and wick it came with.

Coil position above the hole may be what I have read about the whistle.

Or3o is good for the Taifun with RxW, too. You can dry burn each tank so you always have tasty juice. I use the 3mm in mine as it fills the wick slots perfectly.

I have heard of the whistling problem with clones, but I haven't heard it happening with authentics.

Hey guys,

Before I put this on the boards, I contacted Altsmoke. They just replied:

Danielle, It sounds like the insulator is crushed. Many of the atomizers out these days are out of spec and can cause this. I have since started using a rigid insulator to prevent this from happening. You could send it to me to be rebuilt or you could bring it by for me to rebuild. Let me know which you prefer to do. Chad

Should I send it out to him?

Page 17, #163. I built the coils. (I put the picture in that post). Just one of the coils got red for a flash second. Then it went dead. Nothing.

Sounds like you have a short. The pictures you posted look like the same coil. One coil is lower than the other and I cannot see it very well. Is it touching anything?

Edit: looks like you did not trim the legs off the coil after you installed it. Those may be causing you issues. If they aren't they will eventually.

There seems to be this bizarre misconception that vaping is some sort of journey where the destination is dripping and that dripping is the pinnacle of vaping, ultimately whatever works for you is the best, one of the youtube reviewers with the most subscribers, over 100k, is indoor smokers and he only does clearomizers, tanks, simple regulated devices and starter kits etc and that's because that's where he likes to vape.
Personally I like the convenience and the flavor from a rebuildable tank, I like the fact I don't have to carry around extra batteries and bottles of juice wherever I go. I think when we first start vaping we get all excited and buy a lot of stuff we don't need, I have two AGA-T2 Genesis atomizers that haven't even been opened, I've bought a bunch of stuff I never used, waste of money. I have a Quasar dripper and have vaped 3mg juice through it, done giant lung hits and blown "sick clouds brah" but it just wasn't for me, I like the throat hit of mouth to lung hits.

Not sure where I'm going with this, I think danibanani and her coil issues is part of it, talking of which I would urge you not to do anything until you get an Ohm reader, aside from telling you the coil resistance it will let you know if you have a short, best to find out there than on your silver bullet.

Just be safe and try not to get caught up in the race to drip, it's not the be all and end all of vaping....far from it.

I agree with this. And your Stillare clone is a good dripper. You need an Ohm reader and get several good coil builds experience before you worry about spending more money on hardware :)
