Does anyone still have one of these? They had a setting for lower ohms and a setting for higher ohms. I used to have one before the button broke and then they stopped making them. It was probably one of the best starter Ego type batteries, until they stopped making them. Now an Ego-T refers to the ego's attempt at a mod. I think they make one that is called the Ego-c Upgrade, but it is different.

There are two modes in the Joye eGo-c "upgrade" batts. They come in 650 and 1000mAh (used to be a 900 but no longer). And that's two modes regarding how the voltage is regulated (not ohms). One is a constant mode at @3.3-3.4V and the other is called a 'variable mode' but not variable like a Twist. It is a standard 3.7 voltage curve where the volts are higher off the charger, go to @3.7V for most of the charge and 3.2V at the end. The constant mode at 3.4V will give you a bit more time off the batt and is good for those flavors that may tend to burn at the higher voltages. (but of course, it also depends on the ohms of the coils used.)

Many vendors have them. Here's one for the blurb on the two modes:

Katya's right. There is the "eGo-t upgrade batt" and you're right there is an eGo-t2 that is a mod with non-proprietary batteries. The reason I point to the eGo-c upgrade is because it also has upgraded short and charge protection, at the same price level as the t's.

Many vendors had this blurb:

The difference between Joye eGo-T 2 Upgrade battery and Joye eGo-C 2 Upgrade battery is that the eGo-C 2 battery has more intensified short circuit protection.

yeah maybe it was the old 900mah, that was my first battery, then it broke, and now they make them but they have less mah. i think all beginner vapers should get that battery. then they start learning about ohms even before they start wrapping coils.
