The Ongoing Quest For Butterscotch & Caramel

Not a lot of luck with these two.

Tried so far:
All of the below are 15% VG, 85% PG, and @18% nicotine.


FA Butterscotch 5%: NOPE. Can't taste anything.
FW Butterscotch 15%, 2% TFA Sweetener: Closest so far, but still far from a definite butterscotch
FA Caramel 10%: Not even close.

Can I get some recommendations from people who know a very good butterscotch or caramel recipe?

I'm also looking for a good butterscotch and caramel. The best butterscotch I found so far is NF and I've tried that, FA and FW. Same with caramel. I have 5 or 6 and like NF the best. I agree with you that FA caramel and butterscotch aren't that good. I am playing with a combination which isn't bad but needs work:

NF Butterscotch 5%
FA Butterscotch 1%
FW Butterscotch 1%
NF Caramel 0.5%
FW Caramel Candy 1%

I admit that I'm throwing darts. I probably am tossing them all together to rational the $20+ I spent so I don't recommend you copy this unless you already have these along with an extra 20 minutes to make the mix. Regardless, this isn't a bad butterscotch but I know it can be better.

A couple side notes - NF butter rum might be a good one to add, it certainly is in the butterscotch family. Also, I do think NF caramel is one of or maybe the best caramel. Finally, sort of related is NF brown sugar. Only a close cousin but this is one of the best flavors I've found out of the 250+ I've bought. Good vape alone and a great mixer.

Hope this thread gets a little traction. I'm eager to get a good, strong semi-tangy butterscotch and will share anything noteworthy I find.
