I've heard a lot of good things about this "kayfun Killer", and China already has a knockoff ready!

I pre-ordered mine for $20 on Ebay.

Any thoughts? Is there anything about the authentic one that may be difficult to replicate?

If this thing is as good as I've heard it is, I'll buy the real deal after I sample the clone.

I just got the Orchid Clone today but having a ..... of a time with it and my Kick 2 Clone. I cant fire it in dual coil mode because im assuming my build is well under 1.3 ohms and my meter is broken (just ordered a new one) anyways. In single coil mode it works just like a Kayfun, bunch of leaking when filling it up too. But if you screw on the top cap a little then hold it upside down covering both airholes it wont leak much. Does anyone know of a good gauge wire and how many wraps to get 2 Coils in the 1.3 range? I have been using 28g at the moment.

All three of mine came with Allen keys but so far I think I should have spent $60 somewhere else.

Air flow is good.
Wicking great.
Hits good.
Capacity is absolute crap.
Fill method is absolute crap.
One piece chimney makes kayfun style building a little precarious.

If I had payed $160 for an original I would have been one ...... off sob.

Overall opinion, buy a fogger or kayfun and don't waste your time on these until they offer a better fill method, 2 piece chimney, and a longer chimney for higher capacity tanks.

I will say that even though these are tobeco clones (not a huge fan of them) the machine work is pretty damn good and over all thread quality is good.

Quick edit, 9 wraps 28g dualed at .8ohms hits like a champ at 25watts.

How big is this compared to a Kayfun? I always have mine in nano mode for the smaller size for capacity isn't a big issue. Also, is it 22mm?

It's supposed to be 4ml, but I find that hard to believe. Also, it's probably hard to completely fill it using the top fill method. The tank itself is 23mm, the rest is 22mm, but kayfun parts interchange, so you should be able to get some of your nano kits to work with some finagling.

I don't have one yet, but I totally agree with all of the above.

Pretty sad that the $150 original doesn't come with a key, but the $20 clone does. LMAO

I agree, airflow is amazing, but the build quality is terrible, the tobeco unit.

Things ive noticed.

PITA to build, flooding, and the allen screws are specific to the hole they came in, the tolerances with the screws and screw holes are all over the place.

The BIGGEST problem is the fact that the plastic piece it comes with is weak, and the tolerance of the threads is off on the bottom and top cap. Which in turn shreds the cap as you screw it on.

Good thing I only spent 20 bucks, I am going to fly this thing, unless I can get NEW screws and a tank that doesnt get tore up as it screws on

I would really like the know the size of the allen key screws because one of the negative post screws is so loose i cant get a leg secured in it. Anyone happen to know what size screws they are? All 4 of the spare screws i got wont fit, but if i take the one out of the other negative post it screws in just fine. Its kinda boggling.
