Pretty cool! I've been thinking about getting an SD, but this might be a better solution for me. Once you have 510 adapters, I'll be giving it a real hard look.

Very nice. Once you create an 801 adapter I'm in!

Thank you for the interest!

510 & 801 are very much "in the works" I do have working versions of both... I am very picky and am still in a testing phase with these insert adapters before I offer them for sale... with that said, it should not be too much longer before they are 100% ready...

first and foremost, I am here to make something that lasts a long time and works well for people...

What is your time frame? A couple weeks? I might wait for the 801 to release instead of buying one of the others

no promises, but a couple weeks seems within reason...

Thad, your site suggests that you can use a protected cr123 in the AdapteveR. TRUE?

yes protected batts can be used...

is there a video review of the adaptever?

hmm i am thinking of just ordering it now then buying the 801 adapter when it is released. what worries me is i only have 2 901 atomizers and like 15 801 atomizers, if my 2 901's go bad damn i have to spend more $$$$ NOOOO!!!

no promises, but in a couple weeks the 801's will be shipping...

I would be happy to "help you test" the 510 adapter... :D

no problem we can talk off line on this.. just msg me and we can work it out...

Nothing shows instock, when do you expect to have more built?

will be finished with 20 or so over the next couple days... most are spoken for, but any remaining will be added to TJK : Home for sale... I will let everyone know ahead of time...

Thanks for the info.

Am I the only one who doesn't understand this? I have the 4081, the 510 and the 801 (not to mention my beloved SD). I have lots of 4081, 510 and 801 batteries and atomizers. I only have 4 atomizers for my SD. If I were to purchase (what should I purchase) what can I do with this device?

Thanks and sorry for the stupidity.

Hi SharonLM, no appologies necessary... I don't always explain things the best...

Think of the AdapteveR as a universal battery device for "whatever" atomizer you choose....

I don't sell atomizers and I probably never will... However I am considering selling the batteries and charging unit... I am a designer/manufacturer and not a wholesaler... nearly everything inside the AdapteveR is made by me...

the unit is sold with one "insert adapter" included (currently 901 only)...once other insert adapters are offered for sale you can choose a different one...

the insert adapters are interchangable and removable. They are held inside the AdapteveR with a common stainless steel "hex-head, set-screw" that is tightened or loosened from the outside of the unit...

extra insert adapters i.e.: 510, 801, etc will be available soon and are purchased separately... I hope that makes sense and thank you for the question.

WhateveR,

This looks and sounds like a great, quality product. I would like to get one as soon as you have the 510 adapter so that it can be the one that comes with the battery holder if the buyer chooses it. I don't have a 901 or an 801. My M401 has too small a cartridge to be very useful with this power machine. My favorite right now is the manual 510.

That said, I recently got a J118 because of the larger cartridge (almost twice as much juice held when compared to the 510). A manual battery for the J118 will be available on at least one site within a week or so (according to the owner of that site). Feel free to PM me if or when you would like for me to send you a J118 atomizer. I know that no one on here has talked about using it with your creation; however, I think that with the larger cartridge, it would be a powerhouse.

I really appreciate your work, and the adaptability to different atomizers is truly terrific. Please put me somewhere on your list to get one of these beauties as soon as the 510 adapter is available. Thanks.
