I never left home today. I have chronic pancreatitis. That's what's being nasty right now.

Ok, did my first stainless steel build. I think its 316, but someone gave it to me so I'm not 100% certain, but nearly am because I got the exact resistance I was expecting from a 316 dual coil build, 0.306 ohms. Its 9 wraps each on 2.5mm rods. I'm in love with this wire. Soooo much easier to work with than titanium. You can dry burn it, its not springy at all. I'm running in regular power mode right now, but will switch to tc shortly (need to update my mod and I have only the sx mini firmware on my computer so I need to put the firmware for the modder's chip on there. I have it on my phone though so I just need to transfer it).

I did my Bellus wicks the same as what I posted the other day and its running fine with 30/70 juice.

Light glare makes it not look as nice so maybe I can get a daytime pic tomorrow.

I'm so thrilled :). Can't put it down. Glad I got that black glass for the Bellus, too. Tigers and Belluses, oh my!

They're quite the combination! Now I want one, but I can't afford it, so I'm just going to forget it RIGHT NOW! :D

They're still on sale :). But, not the orange one since I bought it. The B&W Tigers II has the new wiring though, which is really cool. Its like old electrical wiring with a woven cover over it. I had a had time deciding between them myself.

I've been making some new discoveries about my gear ever since I started vaping this Orchid. I've hardly put it down since I got it. Last night I just happened to notice my Aqua v2 sitting there looking neglected. I've always liked the taste of it, but I just couldn't get it to vape to suit me. I've tried and tried to tootle puff it, but it just doesn't feel smooth and comfortable like my other tootlers. So I thought, "Hmmm. Wonder what would happen if i lung hit it." So I did, and OMG, what a difference! Now the flavor comes out much better and I get a nice, smooth vape.

This morning I dug out an iSub tank that Innokin sent me when I won my Disrupter. Back then, I tried it, didn't like it, bought some 2 ohm coils thinking it would work better, and still didn't like it. But I was trying to tootle puff it with the airflow turned way down. Today I turned up the airflow and gave it a lung hit, and suddenly I'm really liking it.

So it occurs to me that some of the tanks I didn't like in the past is probably because I was trying to use a technique that wasn't appropriate to the tank. These dual coil tanks probably work the best with more air and a lung hit.

I'm pretty astonished by all this. I think I've always thought that if you're a tootle puffer, that's just something you'll always be. It never occurred to me that it's just one way to vape, but maybe not the only way I'll always vape. Right now, I'm liking both ways. And some of the tanks I didn't really get along with before I'm rediscovering.

The same happened to me, Linda. As I said before I didn't notice for months that I had started lung hitting. It just somehow happened along the way. And yes, I'm vaping the weirdest variety of tanks now and enjoying all different styles. I didn't like the Aromamizer at first. I built it like...an Orchid. I wasn't impressed. It was lame and had no flavor. I made the quad vertical build, cranked it over 50W and totally loved it. Me? 50W? No way! Well, yeah, way :D

Someone just asked me about my Lemo2 build, and I think he's disappointed that I'm tootling it, lol! Yes, I still do that.

Yup! Very few attys are good for both tootling and wide-open lung hits. It's usually one or the other. If it's a rebuildable with a dual-coil setup, it's probably not a tootling tank. Most of our beloved tootlers are not good for big lung hitters. Though many can be opened a bit for restrictive lung hits. It seems actually to boil down to juice delivery system... Happy that you're loving those Orchids!

That's one of the things that I like about my Lemo2. It will probably satisfy 85% of vapors. 5% won't think it's tight enough for tootling. 10% won't get enough air for the big clouds, brah. For the rest of us, it's brilliant; from tootling to lung-hits!

I don't foresee any problems :). I have 3 sx mini m classes and consider them my ultimate mods. Same chip, but dual battery in the Renegade. Once I update it, it will be 150W, have 5 power settings, ni200 and ti modes plus manual tcr. Perry is giving a 1 year warranty on the chip and internals.

150 w doesn't sound like tootling

I just may get one of those Aromamizers before too long, Roxy! I see they're priced pretty reasonably. And it might be fun to build something with quad coils. :D

It's actually fun to have both, I'm discovering. I actually just built a second one so I wouldn't have to get up to refill the first one so often. I've also been pondering whether it would be a good idea to drill out the air holes a smidge. :D

I put the Lemo 2 on my "don't buy" list a couple months ago because I thought it would be too airy for me. Now I think I would probably like it. My Lemo 1 reminds me a lot of a Kayfun, just not as fussy.

I don't see myself ever using 150W :). I tried 100W a few months ago just to see what it was like. Not really for me. It was like a 2s puff. I would rather take a 5s puff at 55W than a 2s puff at 100W.

The lesson I learned is that each atty needs to be built in the way it excels. And if you do that they each have the ability to be brilliant. And a variety of vaping styles is fun and interesting, and no one way is the "right" way.

I never thought I would like an airy vape, and now I love it. I have my family of Aromamizers, a family of Indulgence MTs and a Velocity now.

SS wire and the Orchid is really a killer combo.

Plus....$10 for 200' of SS430 from Unkamen and Tobeco Orchid V5 for under $10 with some Wahlgreens $4 Organic cotton......

Great vaping for very little $$$.

If anyone asked me what tank for a first time builder I would say Orchid.

Stupid simple to build and wick.

Dual coil for a for a first timer?...

I'd recommend a kayfun or lemo.
