Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Just to clarify, I think I missed the reference to this, but would this be in place of kanthal or nichrome? how does the resistance compare?

I was just wondering about stainless steel for use in coil builds.
Yes you can use the SS430 in place of Kanthal & Nichrome. It will work in regular VW mode as well as TC mode.
The resistance of SS430 is 0.008 ohms/mm and Kanthal is 0.018 ohms/mm. A 1 ohm coil of 28g on 3mm would require 10 wraps of SS430 and 5 on Kanthal.

The stainless steel wire can be dry burned and used in contact coils.

This is all from what I am reading and not first hand experience, I am looking to pick up a roll of SS430 myself. I am speculating that it will make all my other wire obsolete... If your device does not have a TCR adjustment for Stainless Steel the you will have to play with the temperature settings to find a proper setting using it in that mode.

Hmm, might be too many wraps. I did find one place that had more choices in gauges. Might look for 27 gauge.
I found 26gauge, 2500 ft but its from canada , its 316 grade on Ebay. Its 22.00 . There is also another place , Rio Grand that sells 1,185 ft for 19.95 but its 304. Thats a whole lotta wire.

You need to go higher in gauge number, 26g would require 15 wraps where 30g would be 6 wraps for that 1 ohm coil.

On etsy there are a few vendors with more gauge choices. I just decided to see how it would be with 12 wraps of 28, that is not bad. I think I will go for it. Less than 22.00 for 2500 ft is not bad. If for some reason I dont care for it, I can probably find a use or sell it.

I like the idea of less heavy metals possibly being absorbed. Cheaper than Ti :)

1ohm? Here I was thinking this waas a TP thread. And wire???

TP does change everything :). My 1.3 ohm kanthal coils suddenly became 0.2-0.4 ohm titanium coils .

And hey, you can tootle subohm with 2-3 coils as well. If its m2l and low power, its still tootling isn't it? Subohm does not equal clouds :). Somehow its become synonomous with cloud chasing, but there's a huge difference between 0.8 ohm and 0.2 ohm. I can easily run a Gus Estia on a 30W mod with 3 coils.

Since going to a higher resistance on my DNA200 TC mod the battery life has gone up. Not sure the reason but this is my experience.

Without knowing all the variables at play id guess the basic smaller wire is more efficient at making the vapors than thick wire is why.

20W from a 22 gauge wire is the same power draw as 20W from 30 gauge. Resistance does not matter.

My bad. Thought TP involved low effort also. As in store bought tanks and coils. That's what I thought the thread was about.

Its about whatever helps people find a good vape :). Even if it goes off topic here and there, I'm fine with that. I've actually only used TP on m2l RTAs so far. There are factory coils now for TP for many clearos, or you can wrap your own coils using several types of wire.

There are now GS Air coils that are specifically for TC. Eleaf came out with those when they came out with their TP mods. Personally, I haven't tried them. I really haven't found a reason yet to get a TP mod. The last time I can remember ever getting a dry hit was a couple years ago when I was vaping those Vision Vivi Novas that had top coils. If you didn't constantly twirl your tank, the wicks would get dry pretty fast. I've kind of decided that if avoiding dry hits are the only reason for TC, that I don't need it. Now if I vaped at really high wattages, maybe I would consider it.

Its a harmless and fun addiction :)

Hurricane has pretty good flavor. Its basically a better looking Taifun that isn't a hulking monster.

The Aromamizer isn't for everyone, that's for sure, but its a load of fun because there are so many ways to build it. But, it excels over 50W.

Cutting the Taifun down to size would definitely help. I threw in a bell cap in my last Fasttech order just to see if I could make it at least lighter. But I've actually been disappointed in the flavor I get from it. It's not bad, just kind of so-so. It's easy to build and easy to fill, but I don't find myself reaching for it very often. It just doesn't compare to my Erls, Roses, and Aquas.

Dry hits aren't a concern for me. I do enjoy the perfectly consistent temperature though.

The bell cap would have nothing to do with the flavor, unless the chimney top has changed. I assume you mean the KF 3.1 in general? After you have used a Rose, Aqua and that little GSII the Kayfun Lite's just don't seem to cut it anymore IMHO. ;)

Then you experience a perfect build on a Genesis with SS mesh and find out how really great the juice is... You almost don't want to go back. ;)

I decided to get a bellcap for the Taifun to see if it would cut down on the weight. That thing is the heaviest atty that I have. It's a monster. But no, it won't improve the flavor. I think you're right about certain attys not cutting it anymore after vaping on the really top flavor RTAs. Surprisingly, though, my GS Airs aren't that far behind them. Much better than the Taifun GT or the Kayfuns.
