The Overlooked Tootle Puffer Gear Thread

I just got back from Axe Man's Surplus store. where I got a bunch of amber glassware : 8 X 125 ml @ 70 cents, 4 X 50 ml @ 50 cents, & a dozen 15 mls @ 25 cents. I'm also excited about the 1 ml 1/100 glass pipettes. I had to do something, as more nic arrived this morning.

@Roxynoodle, if you posted this in this thread, I didn't see it, so I apologize if I'm asking you to repeat yourself. What did you think of the Bellus with the single-coil adapter?

I'm looking at the new clones on Fasttech, which are only single-coil. On the one hand the authentic isn't that much more. On the other hand, I'd probably only want a single coil build anyway. On the third hand, some day I might want a dual coil build. On the forth hand, I've exhausted my before Christmas vape budget (My children area expecting gifts), and the clone's price is closer to an amount I could rationalize.

Your thoughts?

That being said, most of the clones on FT are mislisted. They aren't single coil, AND don't come with the single coil adaptor And they are what...$14.50? One clone had the adaptor. Check the discussions. I would only buy one if I was going to run dual coil only.

You would be better off buying an authentic which does include the single coil adaptor from the US Warehouse of Efun Top like I did. With shipping its $22.50 and you'll have it quickly. It also comes with an extra glass. In fact I'm going to buy a second to hoard away

That being said, I'm going to order an extra 5 pack of glass from FT as its also the same size glass the Goblin Mini uses, and I have that, too. And there's a good chance I'll buy a colored tank or two

ETA: the $14 Bellus clones on FT are all showing the single coil adaptor included. The $12 ones don't have it.

FT has bell caps for the Goblin Mini, but I'm not sure the would work on the Bellus. The Bellus top fills so I'm not sure you could fill it with a bell cap on unless you filled from the bottom through the chimney slots.

That one doesn't have the single coil adaptor. The $14 ones do.

I do like attys where you can run single or dual coils as there is a lot of flexibility for many people. The Bellus or Goblin Mini can tootle, womp or chuck clouds, which makes them very interesting. I do like the Bellus better. The G. Mini has gotten hot on me and the fill screw is a pain.

One more question. What did you think of pushing the build deck in place versus it being threaded?

I would be surprised if they do since most complain now if its not glass, but watch FT as weird things can show up that the authentic makers never thought of.

Actually I like it. Your wicks can't get caught in threads and pulled out of place and its easy to make sure your coils are in front of the air slots.

Someone just asked me if I've used the single coil adapter in my Indulgence X MT RTA. Well, I hadn't realized it had one, lol! But, that does explain the weird afc ring that had me scratching my head. However, based on the size of the airholes under the coils, I don't expect this tank could tootle anymore than I could fly like Superwoman.

However, I'm going to inspect this as soon as my new MTs get here, and I'll update. But, I think this would be better for someone who likes direct lung hits even though s/he might prefer single coil tanks.

I was a little bit surprised to hear that the Bellus can be a tootle puffer atty. I took one look at the size of the drip tip and thought it looked a bit like a sub tank. But it's hard to tell how big the air holes are if they don't show a close up or tell you in the description. How would you compare the flavor to flavor tanks like the Rose or the Erl?

You can put any 510 drip tip on it . I'm not using the stock one. The afc can be adjusted to have one tiny hole open if you want.
