Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Here's the deck and with the adaptor (apparently I should look through my boxes). Look at that airhole though.

The air intake looks adjustable tho, How tight can you get it?

Then you should be able to Tootle just fine, no?

Eric
Not really, even though you can close down the AFC the air port pointing at the coil is huge. The velocity of the air hitting the coil would be very low and the coil would not be cooled properly.

Hmmm.

I still have a feeling that with the right coil and wick it probably could be made to work.

I would play around with it if I had one for sure.

It could be done if you made an insert to go in the air port that reduced its size. Like a piece of silicone with a hole in the middle.

Slow air velocity around the coil equals burnt hit.

I can probably work with the right coil, but it won't be nearly as good as an atomizer that uses smaller air hole directly underneath the coil.

I've built MTL coil setups on the RBA section of my subtank and they simply don't perform as well as on my kayfun. The single biggest difference between the two is the size of the airhole underneath the coil.

Edit: Adding a little extra.

The closest tank I've found that can do both mouth to lung and direct lung is the ego mega tank with the CLR coils. It's not the king in either area, but it performs well and is not expensive. The ego one got a bad rap because the stock coils it comes with, the CL, isn't very good. But the CLR is a whole different animal. They make 2 sizes, .5ohm and 1ohm, and each one comes with a different sized airhole built right into the pin in the coil. It really makes a big difference in the performance of the coil.

I been really liking the 1.0ohm coils and running them at 15-17watts.

I agree. Some tanks can be made to do it, but the vape is very blah. I actually wasn't very thrilled with the Aromamizer at first. I taped off 2 airholes, had the other two open a sliver and it was just lame. After I came up with a build that suited it, it was brilliant, but its a brilliant cloud chucker :)

I have a couple others that are single coil, but just don't tootle well. One is the Petar K Urba. I wasn't very thrilled with that at first either. I felt like I had 30 other tanks with better flavor, and I should not have bought it. I stuffed a big Clapton in it (barely), and it came to life. Same with that clone creation 22mm Taifun GS2. I was expecting a larger version of the normal 19mm one. Well, they enlarged everything, including the airhole and feeder holes. Compared to its little brother, it was a dud. That also has a big Clapton in it now, and the flavor improved dramatically.

Some tanks are meant to tootle, and do it very well. Others are designed for higher power. Just yesterday someone asked if the Aromamizer could be a tootle puffer. Why try to turn a dog into a cat? There are other attys in the same price range that will be better suited to how you vape. I suggested some other dual coil attys I felt he would like a lot more.

 So that put it at about the median, flavor-wise? ;)

Lol! Actually, at that time, it put it in the bottom 10% :D

Well, folks, the FDA seems to think they are going to have their "regulations" (read: elimination of vaping) in place by the end of the year/beginning of 2016 :( And enforcement by spring. It seems its time to get ready.

This feels like one of those disaster films where the meteor is streaking towards the earth, and there's nothing to be done but watch the sky. Here's hoping that everyone's fallout shelter is well stocked.

Where things are available, will we need to speak in code like the SG group, or PM each other to share DIY recipes, so no one knows we have an illegal nic cache?

When I got my first vape, I started looking at smokers thinking, "If you ever tried vaping, you wouldn't have to smoke any more," but I assumed that most people would get there eventually. This is so sad. I tried VUSE when I got a coupon making it almost free. I could only assume it was specifically designed to return folks immediately to smoking as the better alternative. Now, that kind of product may be folks only non-combustible option.

Knowing politicians, I think they wont ban a thing.

Just tax it to the max.

They need to make up for the revenue loss from less tobacco sales somehow....

Theyre not worried about our health.

Eric

Have you read their table of contents at least? They've decided to make the application process impossible. They plan to get their money back by just eliminating the "problem".

I'm not sure BT will even bother with the applications for their cigalikes. The tobacco industry will essentially be restored. Now maybe they make enough money off cigalikes from people who are using them where they can't smoke, I don't know.

I have no doubt that BT will be well positioned to jerry rig some data to address the items in the application. Federal applications frequently ask for research and analysis, particularly around impact assessments, that is actually impossible to produce, but folks find a way to string together data bytes to create the appearance of a cogent argument that addresses the required points and ticks off the required boxes.

I also think much of the non-vaping public think cigalikes and vaping are synonymous, and would have a hard time understanding the issue. We do, after all, refer to most of our products as e-cigs.

Surely they can. I'm just not certain they will. But, I have no idea if their products sell enough to bother. I suppose we will find out.

I use the term "e cig" also because I find its the only thing non vapers understand when they ask what I'm doing.

Wow, I didn't realize it was quite that imminent. But this is the reason I've given myself permission to stock up right now. I can't believe that in January of this year, the only equipment I had was 2 VAMO v2s, 2 protanks, and 2 t3s tanks. Now I have nic in the freezer, over 30 tanks, and enough mods to last me for many, many years. Maybe forever, when I get the mechs I've ordered.

We're the lucky ones because we know and we have time to stock up. But make no mistake, millions of smokers are going to die early deaths because of these draconian measures to protect BT and BP.

I hope it's either a small or a tasty hat. Actually, if it does go through, we will all suffer enough. No one will hold you to it.
